I cleaned up my daily driver (over 87K miles) for the winter. I will maintain with Wolfgang Deep Spritz Sealant.

The front facia starting to show its age. I clayed the front then used M205 on it to clean it up a bit more. With the light, you can see a lot of little dings. Overall, paint is in very good shape except see some swirls around door pulls.

It was chilly out when I started to do it all in the garage today.

  • Jambs cleaned with Poorboy's Spray and Wipe
  • Trim cleaned with Mothers Trim Cleaner

Just got done with a complete Decon, polish, and coating on Paint & Trim to my new Mazda6.

Took me a total of 30 hours……lol

I'm pooped.

Goodnight.

FINALLY! got to wash the "White Shadow". Yes, I named my car lol. And the only way for that to happen was to get my little ones involved. Applied some Black Light then some Poor Boy's EX Sealant w/ Carnauba!

I stopped at Wall mart (130 AM) and purchased some SCG Top End and Dash Away, a bottle of Stoners and a pack of the extra soft detailing terry towels. Immieadatley had to try the Dashaway on the car. Gotta say It was much nicer than either the Megs High gloss or Black magic matte. It left a nice new look non greasy, and it was almost a semi- gloss matte. or a matte with a touch of sheen to it. It also has a nice clean scent to it. then woke up today and used the stoners mixed with rain water on the windshield and cleaned it.

I've been a fan of SCG for a little while now and Dash Away is one of my favorite int. cleaner to date. I love that non gloss look it gives afterward.
