What did you do detailing wise today?

The polar temps broke enough to to a wash/detail on the xterra. Found a small 4" scratch on the top side of the fender. Broke out the megs scratch x. Gone. Like it never happened.

A long sunday wash. :) Man I love CarPro Reset. And I tested a few products too. Reviews coming soon.

I never edit pics for how-to's or reviews, but both of these pics have photo filters from Google Picasa.

I used Meguiar's New Car Scent Protectant on the dash and interior of my 99 Grand Prix. Gave the seats a QID wipe down since they have the leather sealer from the Gold Class leather sealer kit. It is still doing great. Cleaned the interior glass with Meguiar's D120. Also clayed, polished and sealed all the exterior glass with DP Krystal Vision Glass Cleaner, DP High Performance Glass Restorer(front and rear glass only), DP Prep Polish and DP Glass Coating.

It was in the mid-50's and the sun was out so I ended up doing a rinseless in the garage using Blackfire Rinseless. I am always wondering whether I like Optimum or Blackfire. I think Optimum leaves a better shine but Blackfire seems to dry easier and cleans well too.

I cleaned the tires with Mother Back to Black Tire Cleaner and dressed the tires with Wolfgang Tire Gel. Wolfgang is the only tire dresssing I have see that separates (seems a mixture of oil and whatever). I wonder why but it goes on smooth and leaves a rich (not glossy) sheen.

Rinseless wash on the daily with Meguiar's D114 and followed up with some Detailer's Pro Final Gloss Quick Detailer.

Also rinsless washed my 02 Camaro SS (garage queen) with Meguiar's D114 and followed that up with some Meguiar's M135. No pictures of this one.

The daily driver. Good to go for the week.

Super glossy!

Washed my wife's CR-V yesterday early morning. Used Nanoskin Nano Shock as a drying aid after sheeting and wow this stuff looks great and is super slick!

Wheels are reminiscent of a late 70's Trans Am, minus the gold paint of course. Thinkin' the white's a bit easier to take care of than the black.
