Some years ago here on Autopia I introduced many here to Optimum products, especially OCW, so it's cool to once again annouce something from Optimum that is new and groundbreaking......the new Hyper Polish and Hyper Compound.
Much like the older formulas they have long working times, easy clean up, increased leveling properties, little to no dusting but the most unique property of the new system is that they are in "spray-able" form!
That's right, not a typo.....Dr. G. has designed a unique polishing system that Ron and I have been testing now for months which no longer require a cream type base. These abrasives are now delivered in a liquid spray-able form.
The great advantage here is that the Polish and Compound are now laid down on the painted surface more evenly which allows the whole face of the pad to be covered with the product.
Along with the new Polish and Compound are new pads, including a unique silk-wool leveling pad that has been designed with these new spray-able products in mind.
I also requested to tweak the Optimum Finishing Polish which I now believe is just about right in terms of cut, oils and finish.
Here is Optimum Hyper Polish sprayed onto the panel of a car. It clings nicely and that one spray should be able to polish out the whole door.
