Even though I'm kind of known as a Corvette specialist, I kinda like this old car. Power steering, power brakes, and, best of all... COLD A/C!
This car was brought to me for the removal of
HEAVY OVERSPRAY! The overspray on this car was so thick, claybar wouldn't touch it.
I did clay the car first to remove the big chunks. But it was the M205 that worked it's magic!
Process....
Washed with ONR
Clayed with Zaino Red Clay
Polished a test area with M205/white pad... found it to not be quite enough cut.
Changed to M205/orange pad/Griots/speed 5/medium pressure
Followed with BFWD x2/no cure time between coats
Finished with Z8
Polished headlight lenses
BEFORE: It's hard to capture the amount of overspray until you see the 50/50:
50/50's: Overspray came off easily with M205/Orange pads:
AFTER:
No! My ole trusty buddy Koby isn't DEAD!!! Just taking a rest from a hard day of detailing!
