Not a Vette... But still a Chevy! Overspray removal.

Hey Bill,

That is some impressive work my friend. The difference in clarity was amazing after the correction.

The car had such a nice shine to it, I was able to see that you have lost a lot of weight in the reflections.

Greatr job.

:thumbup:76 pounds. And I'm planning to maintain this diet as a lifestyle change. Not going back to my old ways... too much of a health risk.

Besides, nothing tastes as good as being thin feels. :Innocent:

Sweet ride & great work on removing the overspray, Bill.

 I'm in the same boat as your customer there; I've painted my furniture white, around 20-25feet away from my car thinking it's not gonna land on my car. End up with horrible tiny spots of paint from the spray gun. :banghead::banghead: Need to clay and repolish the whole car.

Yeah, the problem with spray can paint is that it's enamel and it doesn't dry real fast. Especially in humid air, so it will carry for 40-50 feet in a breeze before it dries!

Not to worry... it comes off pretty easily.

Awesome work Bill! That was a lot of over spray too!

I just finished up a '36 Ford and I must say those old car are a LOT of work! Had a few areas that needed to be hand polished!

You don't know how BIG those cars are until you start washing them!!!! HUGE! And you're right; ; Many small areas that needed to be hand polished because of the tight spaces that the polisher just wouldn't fit into. Sharp curves, etc.

Great job Bill! What a cool cool ride, it was lucky to have you!

Thanks Todd... I enjoyed working on an American Classic!

is this a detailing forum because you missed a whole heaping of spots. the front grill looks like you breezed over it with a water mitt cause i can still see dirt in it and you obviously didn't wash the dust out of the cracks. you seem like a nice guy but you not a very good detailer
