do you really think that the product has gone downwards??

somebodys? problems are most certainly not the problems of the product!!!try it you will find that it surpasses the original?

If you try the new Zaino, you wont even miss the Klasse.

Especially when the new paint cleanser/swirl remover is released. It will really compliment the line well ;)

until it does zaino is a sealent(the best).

it doesnt match klasse for many things !!!!!

HeHe

Zaino Z2-PRO and Z5 (Z5-PRO is in development) both are VOC compliant as of new 2004 standards in Ca

Klasse - SG (still ?'s about new formulation and its quality). ???VOC.

Zaino: ZFX curing accelerator. Multiple coats (3) in one day

Klasse: no such product and only one coat within 24hrs.

Zaino: easy on and easy off

Klasse: can be difficult at times.

Zaino: Z6 and Z8 (VOC compliant)

Klasse: no Klasse QD or Klasse Spray sealant (DavidB has developed a Sonus line that covers these bases for Klasse)

Zaino: no carnuaba topper needed with intro of Z8

Klasse: best appearance results (from my experience (old version)) is only achieved with a carnuaba topper.

Zaino Customer Service: direct (e-mail or telephone) to the creator of Zaino system products- Sal

Klasse Customer Service: ???

Klasse: AIO (old version) :xyxthumbs :xyxthumbs ; new version- still cleanses very well.

Zaino paint cleanser/polish: (soon to be released) from over 2 years of evolution and personal beta testing. VOC compliant :xyxthumbs :xyxthumbs :xyxthumbs :xyxthumbs

Yes, you are correct Zaino does not match Klasse. It surpassed it for now. Maybe Klasse/Carlack will take the challenge and give us another toy to play with. I can personal assure you that Sal is not sitting back on his laurels ( Z5-PRO, and VOC compliance of entire line of products).

note:I have only used AIO as a cleanser and never as a protectant. It still IMO performs this task quite well. My only experience is with the old SG (circ 2003/4). I have not used (tested) my new SG (circ 2005) version yet.

Hey Bill, correction. I checked the box and I think I got the new stuff around early February. More like 2 months ago. That doesnt mean that vendors arent still selling old stock.

I just got off the phone with Bob. As a Klasse vendor I also needed answers. I do not want to send a different product to unsuspecting customers either. In point form here are some things Bob Faragasso had to say. Remember, his words, not mine, He asked me to post for him.

-That is the most ridiculous thing I have ever heard.

-It would be bad business not to tell our customers, vendors, distributors,

-Our VLR product was once changed and we informed all vendors, why I wouldnâ€â„¢t do the same now!?

-If I was forced to sell a sub-standard product I would close the doors on Klasse.

-If I knew how to work a computer I would love to explain

-It doesnâ€â„¢t surprise me a Zaino guy started this rumor

Ok, let's start bashing the Klasse twins just because one member states their recent experience with the "new" Klasse seems to produce less durability. I would like to hear from many more Autopians before the demise of Klasse is taken as gospel and the now annointed Zaino system does everything except wax your car for you. I wish David B would comment since most of what has been offered up in this thread is speculation. Considering his Sonus line was designed to support the Klasse twins, I believe David would have some valuable insight to dispell rumours in this discussion.

ZaneO, blkZ28Conv, you sound very certain that a Zaino smr is going to be released. I've heard rumours about this product, but nothing concrete. Why are you so optimisitic about its release?

blkZ28Conv, can you also elaborate a bit on the z5 pro? When do you think we'll see it?

Thank you.

As to the original topic. It would not surprise me if the formula for AIo and SG has changed, most likely due to the VOC's. And I agee with NozeBleedSpeed, don;t expect klasse to admit to a change. The new product sounds inferior. But as has been said, zaino is a very viable and worthwhile alternative.

The Zaino cleanser/polish will be released in a few weeks (about a month). Really nice effective product that is easy to use, has real diminishing abrasives, water-based, VOC compliant and Z polishes can be applied immediate after polishing with no additional prep necessary.

Z5-PRO is only in very early stages and is intended to perform the task (hiding surface marring) that the present Z5 is only marginally effective (only hides the most minor of defects).

Just to make sure everyone understands that this is not a Klasse bashing session, just a discussion of noticable changes. This change has been noticed for several months (that's is why I ask someone to send me a newly purchased sample for my personal comparison a couple of months ago).

If there was a bad / old batch, there is no real change in formulation and Klasse's original formulation was/is VOC compliant --- GREAT.

If I wasn't using and satisfied with Zaino, I would be using Klasse's system (AIO & SG) with a quality carnuaba. :xyxthumbs

I am certain because I have a sample bottle of it, and Sal told me it will be out very soon ;) :D

Well, I find this thread disturbing.

On one hand we have a member's report that the product has changed with a test that indicates the to new product is not as good as the old product in a sid by side comparison.

On the other hand, the distributor (through another member) says that the product has not changed.

Obviously, both of these cannot be correct.

So who am I to trust? If I decide to believe the member's post that says the product has changed, then I really should be skeptical of any manufacturer's claims. If I trust the distributor, then I'll have to discount any member's post.

Obviously I'll have to form my own opinion about this issue.

blkz28conv,

You are saying the new AIO still cleanses very well? Does it clean as well as the original version? What about ease of use? Slickness? etc. What differences did you notice between the two versions of AIO?

I don't know about his answers. He says that "this is the most ridiculous thing I have heard". Why would he feel that changing the Klasse formula to make it VOC compliant is ridiclous? Probably hundreds of products had to change so why would it be ridiculous for us to wonder if Klasse had to change. I think it would be ridiculous for us to not ask the question.

First, do you know that Klasse is not VOC compliant?

Second, that VOC compliance regulation is a California regulation and is not a requirement in any other State AFAIK. I realize that CA is a big market for these people, but a manufacturer could simply choose not to sale the product in CA.

No I don't know if Klasse is VOC compliant. I just don't think it's ridiculous to think it might not be VOC compliant and that changes were made considering how many other products are being affected by VOC regs. I hope it is VOC compliant and they don't have to make any changes. I like AIO just the way it was or maybe still is.:)

I've read NJ also has similar restrictions. There might be a few others on the list.

Yes, Bill, CA, NJ, MD, DE, PA, NY, and DC have adopted or are in the process of adopting these regulations.

Does anyone know if Klasse is VOC compliant?

stevet, I understand. Of course it is not ridiculous.

Mr. Faragasso needs to learn how to use a computer so he can directly refute the statements that the product has changed.
