New Klasse

The question is, is there in fact an old formula vs a new voc compliant formula, some say yes some say no. Anyone able to shed any light on this? :nixweiss

Like Zymol, Klasse may have been bought for the right price. Everyone has their price. Do you guys remember when Zymol about 1996-1997 was coming on the scene pretty strong and at $19.95 a bottle was easily the most expensive polish over the counter? Their little German Eagle Icon on the bottle used to say "Product Of Germany". That was some pretty impressive wax. About 1998 people I was dealing with started griping about the wax not working like it used to. I was curious and checked it on the store shelf and found that the first thing that caught my eye was the little German Eagle Icon now had "Pure Powerful Perfect" printed on it and when I rolled the bottle over, it was now being manufactured in Chicago, Il. Someone bought this name and started loading it with a standard wax and made a killing by lowering the price to $15.99 a bottle.

Someone look and see if the manufacturing information on the back of Klasse has remained the same. If it isn't you may have your answer.

Well I guess we will never know for sure. I ordered Klasse VLRP from Autogeek or Autopia (don't remember) and the new VOC compliant formula arrived (looks like armore all instead of baby oil) which was just terrible. Should have sent it back imediately. I ordered online and at no point was I alerted that Klasse had changed it. That made weary of buying a Klasse product again.

I had already decided to stop using SG because I tried EXP and Acrylic Jett Trigger and found them to be a much better user experience. So its down to just AIO which I've yet to hear any conclusive information on. You would think Klasse would be gettting out ahead of all this talk with a marketing campaign of some sort in print or online. Bad business tactic, I'm sure Werkstatt and Poorboys have benefited from this reaction by Klasse.
