FK425 is awesome!

Just got my fk425 and it's awesome! So far so good, I really do think it repels dust. This is especially nice since my neighborhood is still under construction coupled with the fact that I live in the desert. Great slick surface, I've already used it on my TV screen with great results.

In addition, I think the price was quite reasonable, 14.26 for 31 oz is hard to beat. They also give autopia members a 10% discount, and they sent me a FREE sample of pink wax which I thought was way cool. I'll be trying it out on Tuesday when I wash my car.

Anyways, just thought I'd sing the praises of FK425. This will be my goto QD for a while. I have yet to try Quikshine, and will try that next.

Good to know, this spring when I run out of some of my other products I will give this lineup a try since everyone is praising it so nicely.

#425 is easily sitting at the top of my QD arsenal. I reccomend it to everyone.

I think you will like Pink Wax a lot.

Well, I couldn't agree more!

FK 425 has quickly taken over the top spot in my shelf... fantastic look, and great slickness. The jury is still out on the dust/dirt reduction, as it is the dead of winter up here in the northeast, and impossible to tell.

I actually broke down and bought the 31oz bottle and a bottle of #2180 to go under my Pink Wax. Very reasonably priced with the discount and $4.99 shipping.

Adams is hardly the King of QD...sorry to say, but as you indicte it is your arsenal.

#425 is truley an awesome cleaner/qd.

I'm very interested to see how the pink wax compares to Natty's blue on my silver scion. Natty's definately added some depth and had decent durability. I'll probably end up putting a couple of coats of pink wax over the Natty's.

425 is sweet! Highly recommended. Eventually I'd like to try some 2180 sealant, but I just bought some Megs #21 that I'm sure I'll have for a LONG time. Maybe when I run out of UPP...

You can pick up a gallon for $27. I guess I need to order some.

It's actually $27.51...which is weird, because I almost ordered some the other week and I could have sworn it was $25.99, but then again, I don't remember seeing it available in quarts. Hardly seems worth buying a quart for $14.26, especially with the flat rate shipping.

My gallon of #425 showed up last week & I had the chance to use it for the first time today. Now that I think of it, today was really a day of firsts for me & my truck. I used the Optimum Car Wash ( not the Opt QEW) on my black tacoma today for the first time. Decent slickness, cleaned very well & rinsed clean. Didn't seem to degrade the 2 coats of Trade Secret on the "BlkTac". Water was still beading tightly after the final rinse. Dried my truck with the new meg's ww drying towel. ( which worked quite well, I might add ) Then it was on to 2 more new products in my arsenal I've been looking forward to using. Next up was the FK #425. All I can say is "WOW"!! As for qd's........I rotate between the 3 CG qd's,Crystal Mist,WG,Quickshine, Z6/Z8 & Spray & Gloss depending on the weather conditions or whichever wax/sealant I'm using at the time. Today, it was about 65 degrees with 80 % humidity & 35 mph winds. ( it's been raining on and off for the past 2 days ) I grabbed a Sonus Buffing Towel & the FK #425. 425 applies effortlessly & buffs out effortlessly It did add a pink tint to my Sonus Der Wunder Buffing Towel. 425 removes waterspots in 1 pass & buffs out clean & clear. No holograms at all. Super SLICK! The slickness it leaves reminds me of Z8. It didn't seem to add any depth to my black paint like say Z8 does, but the wetness/gloss & crisp reflections it produced was simply awesome! I proceeded to qd all the exterior glass, mirrors & rear chrome bumper. Simply stunning results. I'm glad I bought a gallon of it!! Lastly, I used the Mothers Reflections Advanced Tire Care Dressing for the first time. I rarely use any otc products anymore but this one knocked my socks off. First off, I love the bottle & sprayer. The sprayer allows you to "shoot" the product right where you want it. I applied it to my tires using the usual method I use with water based dressings. Squirt it on & let it soak in for 20-30 minutes before using a tire swipe to finish it off. Product has a nice smell to it & a milky white appearance. It soaks in evenly.......Not "blotchy" at all. No greasy feel to it either. IMO, it produces the perfect "satin" look that I prefer on my tires. This product really surprised me! Durability has yet to be determined as I just applied it today. It looks like I've found 2 new favorite products! I highly recommend the FK #425 & Mother's Reflections Advanced Tire Care Dressing! ( Sorry to hijack this thread )
