FK425 is awesome!

You want something that blows OCW away......try the fx-100.

sorry, I too still have ocw but when fedex arrived today just as I was finishing up a 2005 Jag., I had

to try it and man does this stuff rock.

Previously, I would apply ocw to the jag, but instead I hit it with fx-100 and it made the white paint jump out...depth, etc.

I then applied some #425.....drool baby is all I can say.

You guys are making it soooo difficult for me and this 425!

Do it Chris....seriously, you wont regret it.

If you dont like it, I will buy it from you.

must............resist...........urge..............to ...............buy...............more....................detailing supplies................. :LOLOL :nomore:

Aside from the disturbing fluorescent pink color, I too love 425. I think I've been a little overzealous in my application though--only two QD sessions with it and I've already used about a fifth of the bottle. (Added bonus is the samples they give...I received a sample tin of their 1000P Hi Temp Paste Wax, which apparently is also good stuff.)

Eh, I bought the quart because I wanted to try the product. Since I only detail my car for now, a quart should last me a while.

I'll have to look at the FX-100, and just when my OCW arrives in the mail!

Don't see the FX-100 on their site. Is this something new? I would like to try it.

EDIT: Nevermind, I see it now under the Consumer line!

BLKtac05....Fx-100, then pink wax, then if you have some #425.

I am going to try my other sealants and see what effect if any they play of the fk1 stuff.

I am in full agreement on the 425. I posted this on an Accord forum I frequent:

I was fortunate enough to receive a sample of Finish Kare Fk1 Ultra Slick Poly Wipe Spray Detailer. I had read a good review of it on the Detail City site and promptly headed for the cars after receiving it.

The review was on the money......this is the most reflective, slickest, easiest to apply/remove QD I've ever used. Within 30 minutes I ordered a gallon. Mind you I have many such products in the garage but this will be the only one for our cars from now on. I figured my dark car would light up, which it did, but I didn't expect the light colored Corolla to reflect and shine like never before.

I sprayed it around the door jam of my truck and it cured the static shock problem I was having whenever I exited the truck.

FK 425 certainly is a terrific QD and if I didn't have what I do now, I would still be using it

I did notice good anti static performance and an improvement in slickness and looks

However AW, FC&S and the other two (USA and Aussie) do what 425 does and has other uses besides spray and wipe with a towel and not just paint but interiors, metals, chrome, swirl hiding for show day final prep.

It has got the best smell of any QD though. Wins that hands down.

I'm probably the only one who's not satisfied with FK425 on my black Lexus. I have a gallon and I just use it for my red Yukon which looks great. However, on my black car, the QD is blotchy and streaky. Unlike other QD's I have (DG 521 an FC&S, Megs UQD and Megs FI), I have to do a lot of wiping to get the FK425 to spread evenly and remove streaks.

I use DG105 as my sealant and top it with Natty's Blue. Anyone else have this problem with FK425, especially on black?

When I think of a QD I think of something to get rid of dust and to keep me from having to go through a whole wash process. When I think of AW I think of something that adds to the shine and protection of whatever LSP I have on the paint. So is #425 more of a QD or more like AW? Sorry for the confusion........Thanks!!
