Care to watch the progress of my custom bar???

I really appreciate the positive comments guys. The past few weeks have been progressing rather slowly, but I try to take pride in my work when I get to it. Considering I'm a noob at all this construction stuff, I have to say that I'm pretty happy with the results so far. Its exactly what I had pictured in my head when I was designing it.

Looks great! It is perfectly normal to start runing out of steam toward the end. Just keep up the good work, we know you will enjoy it responsibly :xyxthumbs

?? :rofl

Beautiful and excellent work! I love it. At this point in the construction phase if it were me, I would light up a Rocky Patel vintage 1992 (its a Cigar  ) and sit back and admire the work.

i think we need to have a sit down. . .and put u into some german bier :xyxthumbs

no matter what, the bar does look great!

Well, I got the mirror up before I left for the weekend. The boys and I had a great weekend out, and it sounds like the wife and all the ladies had a pretty good time down here at the new bar. She said that there were many compliments about the bar, and the "hit" was the waterfall.

Here's a couple quick snaps of the mirror behind the liquor shelf.

Oh yeah, I also added a spot light up top to accent the tapper waterfall...

Wow, I'm just seeing these most recent pics. Looks fantastic.

Any more updates?

With the weather, I'm back to work and when I'm home I'm out in the yard...so the bar is just as it is in the last pictures posted. :xyxthumbs

I am very jealous of the bar. It looks top notch. being an apartment dweller i am stuck with using this

I suppose it worked alright but we started to run out of places to put the liquor.

where do you guys buy your liquor? liquor stores in the US are damn expensive. i go to mexico and buy bottles there. you can usually get them for half price. 1L of grey goose is about 19 bucks. the only thing is having to pay import tax and your "not supposed to" bring more than 1L a month

do you just bite the bullet?

costco is actually a really good place to buy alcohol 1.75 kettle one is 36 bucks 1.75 grey goose for $49. etc etc. I seem to collect alcohol like many people here collect car wax. One of my roommates bought some of the more expensive stuff in that pic. (Like the wild turkey up front and the green lable not pictured) Plus i really dont drink all THAT much

the bar looks incredible! like I said, Im very jealous. How is the tile working out on the top? Is it hard to clean vs other bar tops? If you could do anything differently would you?
