I hate you. Turned out amazing, I wish I had that kind of skill.
theeloved1 said:Man...I really failed at updating this thread. Without further wait and fail from me...here's the pictures of the whole basement...
Keep in mind, the ENTIRE project was DIY. The only thing that was hired work was carpet installation. I did all electrical, framing, drywall, spackle/texturing, ceramic tile, paint, etc. So keep that in mind...I was learning on the fly most of the time, so don't be too harsh.

azenthusiast said:That is awesome. You have a gift if you were able to do that all DIY. When I'm out of college and have my own place, I would love to do something like that. When the Super Bowl rolls around, you are going to have a great place to entertain while watching it. That's a fish tank behind the bar, right? Salt water or fresh water?
qballjr13 said:That is so amazing! GREAT job!!!! I like how you painted the floor joists black, that is a great look without having to sheetrock everything! The bar tap fountain was such a great idea!

General Lee said:Just saw the updated pics. I don't get to visit the site to often for any length of time. You ought to be proud of yourself. You did an outstanding job. I wouldn't hesitate at all to let people know I did it all myself.
I'm 4 months in my new house with a 2100 square foot unfinished basement, and will keep your enthusiasm in mind when I start to finish it.
Very nice basement and bar......:goodjob

BTW, your bar/area looks bitchin'. Nice work. Add a stripper poll and you'd be set.
