This is not your ordinary "jv team"

Having listened to it unfold yesterday, the tactical response to a situation like this is a strategical nightmare. The instant/live feed over social media both help and hurt the responders.
While the responding agencies were getting information so were the terrorists possibly.

This has hit my wife and I very hard especially since we visited Paris a few years ago and were in some of these areas like the 10th district. So we are remembering when we were there and our desire to return.

This needs to be addressed like WW2. Every nation needs to step up with military action and completely wipe terrorists off the map. Isolated bombings, drone strikes and 5-10-15 whatever troops is just prolonging the situation. I have no idea how/why this has gone on this long as some say it is a lack of leadership. I would think that France would declare all out war with these disgusting feces. Time will tell I guess.

I so agree with you. Europe is under attack - and so are we. It's time for World War 3. Isolationism, sanctions, and half way efforts won't work with these maniacs.

We need to invade the Middle East and seize the oil supply. Instead of being and humanitarians - starve them to death and bleed them white. Bomb and destroy all their infrastructure and poison the water supply.

While i agree something must be done, it's just not that simple. ISIS doesn't exactly have a country to call their own that can just be invaded and wiped off the map. They hide and cower wherever they can with complete disregard for countries borders. There's so much red tape that simply walking into Syria and blowing everything up could have substantial consequences.

While i agree drastic measures must be taken to eliminate this threat to the free world, it's just not that easy

Wiping out Isis will accomplish nothing. We will never rid the world of terrorists. Most governments want it this way. Paris will use these attacks to strip more freedoms from their citizens. Paris was a gun free zone, how'd that work out for them?

Never said it was easy. Most if not all the wars from Vietnam to present have not been easy. The enemy does not wear uniforms and they all basically look alike (no pun intended) so you do not know if a person is a terrorist or civilian minding their own business. What I do know is that if you never start it just gets worse. I would Napalm the ones I know of and start weeding the rest. Some of the weeding and strikes may already be happening that we do not know of. If it was easy a JV team could do it ( Sorry, I just had to do it).

And the free world needs to get together and do something about them once and for all..

Just based on what we have seen happen in the last 15 years alone, the only thing that might slow them down is totally wipe out the part or parts that everyone knows they operate out of over there..

Yes, this will stop it for however long it may be, and they will come back and try it again, but so will the world, until they finally get it...

If no one does anything to show them what superior power is, there will never be that element of fear that will hopefully slow them down or perhaps even stop them...

Does anyone remember what Japan decided they wanted to do, and were relentless in their efforts on many islands in the Pacific, did major damage at Pearl Harbor, and finally were brought to surrender with a couple of atomic bombs at Hiroshima and Nagasaki ?

My Dad and Uncle ( the other 3 brothers parachuted into Normandy) fought them and they both said nothing was as chilling as seeing hundreds of these guys coming at them full speed, shouting Banzai, and not fearing for their lives one bit.. It was going to be them killing you or you stopping them from doing that...

And they came back, rebuilt, and ended up doing a lot of good for the world and still do today...

Sometimes, you just have to do the really hard thing for the good that will come out of it...

And no, people, you do NOT have the RIGHT or the NEED to know what the Military is doing or going to do - EVER...
There are people who have that right and need to know, and believe me, it is NONE of us...

Any time you can tell the enemy anything that you are planning to do is absolutely the worst thing that can ever happen...

You want so bad to know what the Military is doing all the time so you can judge, them, condemn them or whatever - get over to the Recruitment Station and join up, see if you can last through Basic Training, then Test really good, be smart enough, strong enough, trustworthy enough, and just maybe, you will get to work right in the middle of all that and you will understand and you will do your part to make it successful...

Otherwise, shut the hell up and let them do what they are trained to do, while they personally sacrifice their lives, their families, their happiness, so that all this bad stuff doesnt show up at our doors someday...

I thank God every day that this nightmare is not in our country, but it sure appears that these little weenie-boys and girls in black are thinking they are really a force to be reckoned with because most of the entire Free World is too busy to look up from their dang IPhones to do something about this, or have that twisted mentality that somehow we have to be Nice, play Nice, and do Nice things to the very people who would not hesitate to slit our throats...
