Zaino MF towel was released

I didn't either, but I saw a lot of hatred from people who don't have much better do do with their time except bash every Zaino post. Lately this forum is getting full of a sorts of negative posts. Kinda funny always the same few people can't let a Zaino post go without throughing out some jabz. Anything so hated must be worth trying.:bigups

I haven't decided on trying the towel yet, but I really like the Made in US thing. Does anyone else make a USA towel with scratch free sides for cheaper?

I don't really see much hype here. Some have had the chance to use them and like them. They are made differently than any towel you're currently using.

What is this huge innovation that makes them so different from other towels on the market?

For every person that won't buy it just because its from zaino, there will be some person that will buy it it just because its from zaino.

A towel will either mar the point or it won't mar the paint. There's no inbetween.

I have nothing against zaino products and would actually like to try them some time down the road. I just want to know what all the fuss is about when there's other super plush scratchless towels already out there.

there are good high quality microfiber towels that can be had just about anywhere and as long as they don't cause problems, then that's all that matters. if you like the zaino (or any other) and want to pay the premium that they (or whoever) charge, more power to you. everyone has different tastes...

I'm certainly not qualified to answer that, but to my best understanding the biggest difference is the quality control of the material and processing.

That's the way of the world (and market). That holds true with Sony, Rolex, Mercedes Benz, etc. No one should take anything pesonally one way or the other.

Any solid proof to this claim of quality control? And where is the QC at? where the material is actually being made (usually china or inda etc etc child labor and such) or is it simply where they cut and stitch the final product? (I have to assume so even though the first part is where it would actually make the difference)

And I'm defiantly NOT a zanio hater. Awesome results for those that actually have the time to use the product. I just don't get why every manufacture feels the need to slap their name on anything they can. What was the push for a Zanio towel? They are a polish and polishing supply company. (same with most other manufacture's that slap their names on them too) It's like the whole clay thing. I mean we all know clay magic makes all the clay in north america and will not let anyone else make it or sell it here without trying to sue the dickens out them. Yet everyone slaps their name on clay when anyone that knows about it knows it all comes from the same place. The MF's are the exact same way. You have only a couple of companies out there making this stuff. They cut it all up and ship it to a 1000's different other companies to slap their own name on it and people eat it up like candy on holloween.

Only what I was told. I tried them and like them, so I didn't feel the need to demand proof.

I've used towels from most vendors. These are different from anything I've used before. I don't feel like I've ever been lied to or deceived by Sal before, so I'm satisfied with my findings and his word. I can say that it's not something he just "slapped his name on." It's something he and Tony have been working on for several years - countless hours and dollars spent I'm sure.

Like I said, if a certain product isn't for you (for whatever reason), it's really not a big deal. I wouldn't dwell on it.

point taken there ZaneO, My gripe with this is not directed towards any memeber at all. And I don't want it taken like that at all. It's more of a manufacturing issue with me than anything.

why don't you give Sal Zaino a call @ 732-833-8800 and report back your findings instead of assuming everything.

I buy the Microfiber pkg from Sam's and have never had a problem with them on black paint. To each his/her own.

Plus. If I spent over 8 bucks each for the Zaino towels I wouldn't want them to get dirty. lol

That's funny cause I have some ultra-plush ones that are years old and have never used them. Just can't bring myself to use them, when I can grab a lesser non-marring towel. I guess I'm waiting for that imaginary Bugatti.

I don't understand all the hatred from some just because the Zaino crew put years of research and development into a perfect towel. Especially from some people that have never tried Zaino.

Is the towel for everyone? NO. It's for customers of his that orders his products and wants an ultra gentle towel that will not marr the paint.

Why do I like the towel?

Because it is dye free, lint free, and extremely gentle. The is a real biggie when I am working on a flawless 100% perfection job and I want everything to go perfect with no issues at all.

Ya I never understood all the hatred towards Z. Their products all top off the class. You might pay a little more, but it is proven quality.

A well taken care of MF should last a long time, cost per vehicle is very little.

Another thread should be, "What is the true product cost of detailing a vehicle"

Ha ha...my Blue Coral kit from 1981 or something is still waiting for me to get a "good" car! But I also have not been able to bring myself to use my Monster Fluffy...what did that cost, $10 or something?

But I also have not been able to bring myself to use my Monster Fluffy.

LOL...Too funny. I was looking at mine last night in the plastic wrapper...Should I or Shouldn't I....am I worthy...:bow

Did anyone notice they've been taken off the Zaino site now?

Again? I'm not sure they are really for sale yet, there is no press release about it on the "what's new" page. This happened once before a few years ago when there was a new product coming out, that it suddenly appeared on the website for a short time and then disappeared...like they were testing the page prior to going live.

Oh no...you too, Pat? It's only new once...if I got a pack of those Zaino towels I would use one and put the other two in a drawer...that's why I like to get MF's in bulk, then I can use like half of them and still have the other half new and in reserve...that's not OCD, is it? :o
