What's your favorite car wash product?

If you want boutique only, 1z Perls for me. I would like to get a hold of some Sonax and Griots

Accum, I use GC all the time on my black car, but i haven't experienced any marring. I use a natural sea sponge to wash and the Big Blue to dry. To me GC is super lubricated and if anything maybe a little much. Possibly i haven't tried enough shampoos, but i'm very happy with GC.

No flame taken. :)

Heh heh, if it's working for *you*, that's what counts! I'm just glad your black car isn't getting marred. We're not flaming, we're just discussing something that some people can get sorta touchy about  I sometimes feel a little :o when I denigrate a popular product.

But isn't it interesting that we take such different views of the GC's lubricity?!? Looks like people will have togive it some thought and see what *they* think.

There are always a lot of variables at play (which LSP, what kind of dirt, water quality, etc. etc.) and of course the wash technique is critical. FWIW, when I tried the GC, I wasn't using my "extreme wash technique" and my "regular technique" might not have been the best one to try with a shampoo that's so different from my usual one.

I'm sure not gonna tell you that you're not getting the results that you *know* you're getting :D so we can chalk up our different experiences to the ol' :nixweiss Now if people *are* getting wash-induced marring, then that's something different...

Yep, a lot of different factors even the amount of soap used, personally i use the guestimate and pour in bucket method, so maybe thats why the wash gets so lubricated.

I just got 2 bottles of Perls today, we'll see how it works out.

Again, no flame take at all. :-)

I've used Mother's, P21S and GC so far. I like GC and use it when a car really needs a wash. I use P21S for light washing. Mother's is pretty nice, but GC is more sudsy IMO. I never had any problems with GC.

I want to try out EO Wet and NXT next.

I just received my first bottle of Pinnacle Bodywork Shampoo with Tuff Suds. I'll report back soon on how well it works.

I agree, Mothers disappointed me, could not lift typical dirt away, GC does better, EO even more :up

I highly encourage you to try the EO.

I really like the Pinnacle shampoo. Great tropical smell, nice gloss, good lubricity, decent cleaning action, great finish.

The only thing to give pause is the price. Not so bad if purchased in a kit like the Paste Glaz kit I got but still a bit pricey.

Still, this may be the very best soap. With P21S and NXT selling for much less it will likely remain a specialty product.

Pinnacle....great smell, shine and cleaning ability. I buy it by the gallon which is a whole lot cheaper. You only need a 1/2 oz per bucket.

Is the EO Wet (which comes in smaller bottles) same as the EO Auto Car Wash which is sold by the gallons?
