What was your first car?

..a 1961 VW beetle..6 volt system..cream colored..finish was so discolored, I took a can of Comet..wet the car and scrubbed with a rag...got the color back to cream....not very shiny, though.

Later painted it with about 40 spray cans of Purple automotive spray..it rained that night and the paint turned out really blotchy and runny....ahhhh..to be young and stupid....

1991 Oldsmobile Cutlass Supreme Coupe SL...Saphire Blue with alloys and a digital dash...not the fastest, but damn comfortable...

Got totalled by an 83 year old lady in a Buick 6 months later right in front of my high school...oh, the memories...

I miss that car.

$50 1950 Oldsmobile, that NEVER looked this good:

Second was a 57 Ford Fairlane, 312 T-Bird engine, race cam, Hurst shifter, too cool...

I've been Car Crazy ever since.

black '86 Pontiac Fiero

STOP LAUGHING! :) It actually served me well, had it until '92. It had around 70,000 miles on it when I sold it. The only problems were the A/C quit, and the paint was coming off the rear panel (over the engine). I have fond memories of it.

2000 Toyota Celica GT in bought in May of 2000. It was an awesome first car and overall a wonderful little car to drive. I look back and can't believe I ever treated a car like I did that car. I even drove it through a couple of automatic washes when I was 16!!!! I beat the living heck out of that poor car also but it was still kicking 3 yrs and 36k later when I traded it in for the s2k. I would look into finding a used one if I were you. It is a very easy car to drive. Handles and brakes awesome and has plenty of get up and go for your first car. Not to mention it's a good looking car and its not hard to find the 2000 models for very good prices (check www.newcelica.org) Just don't get my old car :D

Wow you guys had really nice cars. I would kill for most of those. Well, my first (and current) is a 97 cavalier. Not a bad car (at least its a 2 door stick), and it gets me around.

Loco, you should have gotten one of those kits that take the Fiero frame and engine and put a fake Countash body on it, that would have turned heads! No ordinary fiero, no sir.
