What was your first car?

1969 Chevrolet Bel Air with 3 on the column. Put in an 8 track player and my first tape was Led Zeppelin II ...... and that was the CD I had cranked up this morning on the way to the gym.
 
First car I drove to high school: 1976 Chevy Suburban (I was way a head of the SUV craze).



First car that was officially mine to drive: 1982 Mercury LN7



First car that I bought: 1987 Honda Prelude (used).
 
1972 Plymouth Fury III. Quintessential land yacht . . . earned me the nickname "Skipper" in high school. Mine was blue, but here's an eBay pic of a '72:

never had to do any engine work

but, completely rebuilt the body compartment pans and rear quarter panels.
 
1993 Chrysler Concorde with 12 miles. '93 was the first year, and mine was lemon-filled. Sold it four years ago for $900 (137K miles) for parts. Clear coat peeling EVERYWHERE.
 
1954 Ford, 2 door coupe, medium blue, 6 cyl, 3 speed with overdrive and a vacuum powered wolf whistle. $35.00, paid cash, drove it for 4 years. Second car was a '54 Ford, 4 door, mint green peeling off to reveal dark green beneath, but this beast was a 239 cubic inch V8 monster that cost me $75.00! Trust me, if anyone needs help on a '54 Ford, I can even identify the shouldered bolts that held the hood on or rebuild a 3 speed overdrive tranny blindfolded! If memory serves me, neither one ran quite as well as my '383 Lingenfelter does. I sometimes daydream that I could take the Vette back to when I had the '54 and show the Roadrunners and Chevelles up that used to burn around me!
 
wow... dont take this offensively, but either you guys had a real affinity for cars, or youre really old, perhaps both. all of your first cars are 60s and 70s models... i dont see too many of thos anymore. anyways, im planning to get a 2001 or 2002 honda accrod 4 door, 4 cylinder :(, blue
 
I take the BMW didn't work out for you? The Accords are a good choice! If you can, go for the 01-02 V6 EX (although they don't come in blue). My sister has an 02 EX-VL Coupe that's pretty fun to drive.
