Mine was a 1962 Chev Belair. 4 door, 6 cyl, 3-on- the- tree, no radio. Paid $300 for it. It was the UGLIEST vehicle ever, but we had a lot of fun with it.
My first ride was a 1988 Chevy Cavalier Z-24. Red with the gray ground effects (if that's what you'd call them). I put custom wheels on it and tinted the windows.
The car was a great first car, and had more than enough power to get me into plenty of trouble. I'd probably be dead right now if I had anything more powerful then.
I started saving for my first car when I was 14, and finally at 17 talked dad into letting my put it all toward a car. Do you know how many lawns I had to mow to get that car???
Good luck on finding your new car. Damn exciting time.
98 Plymouth Neon. 2 door 5spd Dark Purple. Learned allot of detailing on that car, people always commented on the color. Fun little car to drive but not exacly "Cool". Had fun with it though.
1968 Pontiac LeMans, 225 cubic inch overhead cam six with a three speed. Fastest car to the next street light. The v8s would boil their tires while I would accelerate away.
1957 Hillman Minx, red, white rag top, 4 cylinder, 3 on the tree. Parents paid half ($250.00) for my birthday. Polished it so much I was polishing the paint off. However it was so gutless it couldn't pull a sick whore off a toilet seat. Needless to say we had some transportation.
1993 Ford Ranger 4x4 V6 4L.....what I am currently driving. I love this truck. Bought it a couple years ago for $2,500. She currently has 138,000+ miles and is going strong.
