Bryan... Do you find the G110v2 to have significantly more power and torque under pressure than the PC7424XP?
It's the one question that no one had answered directly in a head-to-head comparison.
(sent you PM also)
Bill, "I" think so, but maybe others will not. (disclaimer)
v2 at speed 5 on a flat surface, I think the v2 will maintain better with pressure. I guess I need to try and do a side by side to be sure. Just need a car to detail at the house where I am not trying to get it done quickly.
Well, a lot of folks "claim" the V2 has much more power/torque than the XP, but I haven't seen a side-by-side comparison. Therefore there is no proof.
I'd really like to see a test on two sides of the same hood. Same product, same pads, same pressure, same exact working time, and the results compared. Ok, side "B" needs another 15 minutes with the XP... something like that.
If the results show a 25-30% improvement in working time, I'll buy one.
BTW... I'm not asking you to do this!![]()
Bill, no way you are gonna get a 25% improvement on working time. Same way there is no improvement in working time from the 7424 to the XPPC.
I can tell you for sure that after the 13 hours of fun yesterday, I have no tingling in my hands today. That is well worth the $150 for me.
Q. How many power tools are enough?
A. Just one more!ancing Dot:
I thought it would be interesting to see what everyone's using!:Innocent:
What POLISHER do you use most?
And why?
For me, PC7424XP... I use if for everything from heavy compounding to finish polishing... in combination with M105/205, it's a great machine!:Innocent:
Please wait one week before posting another poll to replace this one on the main page! Thanks....:w00t:
I am starting to lean that way in the PC direction.....I have been reading around and quite a few V-2 's are being sent back with problems.
I wasn't aware of any problems with the V2's.
