Have to look up older thread but these tires were coated with dp coating. Still look great.

Placed an order for a bunch of Poorboys stuff to take advantage of the Mem Day sale, and posted pics to the "merlin shot" thread.

Whew, busy day :)

i need a vacation after this one ... no wait, i`m retired in Florida and always on vacation:dance1. more real estate than i`m used to doing at one time , but was able to bring back a neglected finish with megs d151, and a lsp with griot`s one step sealant. gg 6"da , lc orange pads and a lot of microfibers. you know it`s bad when you have to start with a bleche-wite scrub down. :o

That`s a lot of work....

Me, I wudda done d151, then hit it with BFCS or similar. (i`m lazy)

i told the owner, from now on give it a bath and hydro2. (also known as the ronkh rv treatment)
the megs d151 did a great job, but still needed a little more cleanup when finished. the polish of the griots one step was really needed.

Started off with a SS&S foam bath and three cold beverages later we ended up with the duetto and nano out and here we are now...

Heat wave. Waited till the evening to do the escape & xterra. Xterra got the engine re done due to pollen etc. Normal wash routine plus plenty of DP bug remover on the front end! Great product BTW. Sprayed it on and let it dwell before i foamed. Finished with groit`s spray on wax.

Well... not today, being as it`s the greatest racing day EVER (with Monaco, Indy, and the 600)... but yesterday was a `sorta` detailing day.

Washed and spray sealed a 16 Yukon I`ve got on loaner. Yeah... I`m "that guy", the one that WASHES AND WAXES/seals loaner cars.

But the coupe-de-gras, or koup de grass as we say in the south was that me and CarMomma ordered a new Special Edition Costco Silverado yesterday.
Haven`t seen any of them on the road, (other than the black one at Costco). Went with sierra red tintcoat, cocoa/dune interior, 4x4. Reckon there will be a SOLID WEEK of "what you did detailing wise today" here in about 6~8 weeks. :) Told them in NO UNCERTAIN TERMS, do not remove the plastic, do not wash it, do not TOUCH IT till I`m there. B)

Tried to get rid of this bird poop etching on my Dad`s A6. It`s mostly gone, but to get it 100%, I think I would need to wet sand it. I waterless washed the trunk, clay barred it, 3 passes of Menzerna FG400 on an orange pad using a GG6 and finished it off with Polish Angel Master Sealant.

Really can`t see it. In the sun the metallic overpowers the slight etching and in the shade you have to be pretty much eye level with the paint to see anything.

Well that`s it..... Your dad needs a proper flogging! ;)

Every one of my vehicles have bottled water, a few towels, and at least a sample sized sprayer (or FOUR) of QD or spray sealant/wax, rinse less, etc. With of course instructions to NEVER come home with bird poo in a full crust. :)

I saw your review on "The Hose Slide" this morning and I love those things too. I actually met the family who invented that tool at SEMA a few years ago and I`m happy to see it get good reviews. I only have a 2 pack but reading your review made me grab another 2 pack for this weekend :)

Hope u had a great weekend B) I wanted to say thank you for the very nice Quote, and a much BIGGER THANK YOU for the surprise in the box 2 towels :o

Cleaned up "The Beast" this morning while it was still cool and I had shade (and a mild hangover, lol). Don`t normally dress the tires, but I figured what the hell. 151K and she still looks great. I love Ford single stage white.

Still need to transfer the title over to PA, but that`s been one fiasco after another.

That`s a clean machine Ron. Did you coat it?

Just wash, hydro 2 + gyeon cure, so far till I figure out what I`m gonna doto it. It was sweltering yesterday and today. No it`s got an error code in puter. "service suspension" :(

Looks good sir, how do you like cleaning those wheels compared to the last vette?

So far just hit em with apc and a sams micro, then micro went into garbage.

Think I can use spray and rinse on em, so all will be good if I can.

Sorry to hear about the service light, does it say head on down to your Ford dealer? Thinkin` you should start it off on the right foot and get some Reload on a ASAP. :)

Memorial Day detail. 40th Anniversary 911. Just a simple Wash and Wax was requested but after these results he wants me back for a one step polish and paint chip repair.

He ended up buying my half used jar of Souveran from me after he felt the paint.
