What did you do detailing wise today?

detailed a neighbor's 2012 buick with blackfire tpns followed up with bfwd. sorry the late afternoon pic is a little dark.

Was this one covered in overspray? I detailed one last year and it was literally covered in overspray from the factory. Wondering if its an isolated incident.

this was a "new, old stock vehicle" just purchased from the dealer and yes, a lot of over-spray and contamination. claying with some griot's clay cleaned things up very well. i also did his 1999 cadillac in the background back in nov. 2013 and the contamination on it wasn't near as bad as the buick. go figure. :)

I got a box with detailing stuff in it :)

Organized detailing supplies and labeled bottles (what cabin fever does). I ran out of label tape. I also got to use the Blackfire detailing bag.

Shamefully my VW has been neglected. Its been through mud, rain, ice, and snow. Never though it would come in contact with salt down here in the South, but it did. It has been needing cleaning up for a while, but its either been too cold or raining. Today was beautiful outside so it got a quick thorough interior clean, motor was wiped down (it's getting an oil change, spark plug change, filters changed, so no need in a tough scrubbing yet) and a good wash on the exterior. The sealant has been on the car for about 4 months and through all the nasty weather it was showing its age. Quickly applied PB's Natty's Red to last me a month or so before I can do a complete detail.

Xterra has been in neglect. Spent a good hour or more shoveling snow saturday from the storm. Still snow off/on today. I really did not think heaven had any more snow left.

Given the weather, I am not doing anything. I cannot wash it properly and not going to do rinseless for it to be nice for a day. I hope to do something later this week.

Washed car. It started to freeze ~ 22°. So, I found if you blast the panel with snow foam, it helps melt the ice. Neighbors think I'm a numb nuts.

Now car is clean. Going to start getting it ready for Detail Fest.

Not quite a month. We got. MORE snow again last night. There is so much snow here they are picking it up in backhoes and taking it away in trucks - no place to put it.

When your stuck in the snow - you count each day when yr headed to FL.

Here is the view from my window:

The snow is almost piled up to the tree branches. And that is after they started taking it away with the backhoes.

That's crazy. I wish we would have had a winter here in California. Not even any rain. Hell I'm pretty sure we are already heading into summer considering it was almost 90° on Saturday and I got sun burnt. Sorry if I sound like I'm bragging cause I'm not. I hate the heat where I am at.

Best day of the year so far in North Carolina. It was sunny and over 70. I took the opportunity to wash both cars.

I washed both with Pinnacle XMT Soap and ended up using Mothers Spray Wax on one and Wolfgang Spritz Sealant on the other.

Yep. It loves the sun. Which right now is a good thing since garage is full of stuff

I agree. I found Liquid Natty's Blue to work best in the sun. When I have used it in the past I always let it "bake" in the sun for 30+min before removal and it was a breeze. I once tried it in the garage and let it sit for 30min and it was a bear to remove. I then backed the car out into the sun and let it sit, and everything was better again.
