What did you do detailing wise today?

Today the temperature was high enough that the salt would work so the state laid it down heavy.
I went to town and washed my Explorer with salt water.
My unusual wash left a unique look.
Now it is a pretty red with white streaks down the side.:crazy2:

Just a little quick touch up on the Ram. Not sure why I bothered since we are getting 5-8 inches tomorrow.

Wiped down wheels and cleaned up with some old OCW. The Black Label Diamond Coating is holding up fantastic this winter.
Trim touched up with PBTR
Glass cleaned with PB Glass Cleaner
Vac and interior wipe down with Megs QID
Tires dressed with PERL 1:1

well i did rinse off the challenger today and really am enjoying the sheeting/beading from the wolfgang deep gloss paint sealant 3.0
 
Monday my fiancé forced me to wash our car since I had to drop her off at a different job location.... I was wanting to wait until I could do a write up and show off some new goodies but that didn't happen. So I went to local car wash and gave it a simple wash and decontaminate with clay. I prewashed it with some diluted APC knowing it might damage the wax. I didn't care about the wax because Ill be polishing the car and adding more wax soon. I used the new Lake Country foam wash mitt and basically used the hi pressure sprayer from the car wash with the mitt. I Kept a steady stream of soapy water in front of the mitt and just glided across each panel. Cleaning the mitt after every panel or so. It worked like a charm. I have not washed my car since October of last year. At that time I applied some AF Passion I won on this site. After months of daily driving and a few snow storm, the car still looks pretty dang good. Shine is very nice and the water still beads good. Check out this pic I just took in the work parking garage.

Of course the tires and black trim were coated with some AMMO MUD.
 
detailed a neighbor's 2012 buick with blackfire tpns followed up with bfwd. sorry the late afternoon pic is a little dark.
