Too many hours on a Kia Sportage.....yes a Kia

Jeff !!!!!!

Amazing, simply amazing transformation !!!!!!!!

You have heard of the expression - "when pigs fly", right ?

This thing easily wins, hands-down, the "When Pigs Drive" Award !!!!! :)

Holy Cow !!!!

I need to go outside and finish my Grand Cherokee now and try to not remember what I have just seen - hope you had all your shots before you started touching this carrier of all bad things that could ruin your health mobile... :)

Incredible turn around - it looks better than any KIA - even a new one !

We are so proud of you !!!!!!!

Great, great, super job here !

DanF

Wow Dan, thank you. I don't know what to say....other than thank you :).

That quote made my day.

haha I'm glad

:iagree: You did a great job. At least we know nothing is impossible. Someone should start a thread of the most challenging job ever done.

Thanks! I think there are some threads like that on other forums.

You must have owed your friend one hell of a favor!

Amazing turn around on that interior, I need to look into more of your work. Great job.

Thanks!

that had to be the grungiest interior i've ever seen on this forum... what a turn around. you must of owed this guy big... great work.. you just showed us nothing is impossible

Thank you!

Nice turnaround, that thing was disgusting!

-Kody-

Thank you Kody

I may be new here but I have looked through just about every Shine and Show thread here in the last month or so. So call me crazy but it was kinda nice seeing an everyday driver being totally transformed. There are quite a few but for the most part they are exotics to some of us. I love seeing all the exotics and such, but there is something to be said about someone going to that much effort for a vehicle like that. Who knows, that Kia might just be some twisted persons dream car. (That would be a sad life). But anyways great work.

I'd love to meet the person that has this as their dream car. It would be interesting. Thanks!

You have been knighted as "Sir Detailer" for you work !

<:-P Awesome! Thank you!

I think you just tripled the value of the car. Nice work! :hurray:

:White Horse:

LOL yeah, something like that. Thanks

Jeff,

Who else but you could get a disgusting Kia like that looking sooooo good.

Next time you warn us about how scary some of the piucs are, you need to make the font size 15 and make it bright red. Unfortunately, I didn't take your warning seriously enough, and I will never be the same.:scared::scared:

Great job!!

Newb question, How much would you charge a customer for this caliber of work, considering it is a lower end DD? thanks....... Tim

The Kia Master we have here, awesome turnaround Jeff hope your friend gets to flip this one for some coin!

After my Cougar had a massive brake failure on the way back from Kansas City, I was given a great price on a Kia Sportage very similar to this one. The previous driver, "a maintenance worker for a pork processor", drove it high speeds on gravel roads. The smell inside is of everything bad about pigs. Even the headliner is stinky.

I know, it will never be a perfect car. But the motor was recently rebuilt, and she runs good. So I intend to bring her back.

Tell your friend to grease and watch the lock mechanism for the spare tire carrier, and the rear door latch. Also, the rear passenger door mechanisms need lots of care on these cars.

I can not believe how much you brought back that carpet. You did an amazing job. Maybe there is hope for mine after all.

Wow, that was an amazing transformation!!! I, too, am wondering how much do you would have charged if it wasn't for that favor you owed to your friend. How long did it take for you to learn how to work your magic?

Pardon the barrage of newb questions :)

lol! pimpin ride! haha great turn around as always!:D

Thanks Eric!

Great job!!

Next time I'll put it in big bold red letters for ya! LOL thanks man! I do love a challenge, in whatever form they arrive in...

I hope you a re fully obsolved form any debt you might have owed! WOW what a turn around for a beater!

Yep it definitely squared us! Thanks!

great turn around, but you should have posted a picture of you wearing your hazmat suit when you dove into that interior disaster zone. nice work !

I know someone who works at a nuclear plant, and he could have gotten me a suit... Perhaps for the next one lol. Thanks!

Thanks Angelo! I think he made some good coin on this one.

Lol I noticed the locks and greased them while I had it! He asked what I did to get them working better! Haha! Thanks.

What a great turn around on one highly toxic ride !!!!

Thank you!

Awesome work, I saw the interior and thought there was no way it would be able to look new again, killer work!

Thanks David!

OMG.... I would have taken one look at it and be like @-) Awesome work!

Thank you!

Thanks! It look lots of time to learn how to work magic ;)

That's really an amazing turnaround! Great work and very nice to read!

Thank you Todd!

Outstanding work.

Thanks!

LMAO Jeff - I know what you mean by never wanting to work on something like this again. Quite possibly the turn-around of the year; you really did this sad vehicle right. It was completely lifeless and dead looking, but after a TON of hard work it's back to shape to be used some more.

Excellent work!
