The worst hologams EVER!

I mainly use it on a blue pad.

I put a good stripe around the edge of the pad to load the pad properly. I then work it in slowly for 30 seconds just to reduce some spatter and then crank it up to 1500-1800 and use medium pressure and work it into the panel for a couple of minutes. I will then back off on the pressure and just let the pad glide over the surface to highly polish the surface into an absolute perfect finish.

This is a 2 cycle finish polish system that can be done in one session. The advantage of using the blue pad, it is a non mechanical pad and will not induce marring at all. You will get some oily spatter, but it is normal.

I have tried this on the most finicky paints and it has worked 100%.

Ok great, I will give it a try with my LC blue pads--thanks for the tips! I have searched high and low for a replacement to PO106FF--the UF SE was the closest that I have found. I had high hopes for the new 1Z polishes, but I haven't figured them out yet(or they don't work me).

Thanks everyone!

Thanks everyone!

I did try the 1Z Pro polishes. I did like the 1Z-IP as it is an agressive polish that can work at a low rpm and is great for water spots and dead paint and really restores the deep bottom gloss. The HGP was just ok, but can not compete againt 106/85 or ultrafina.

There will be more alternatives coming out very soon:spot

Fantastic job. Not just amazing skills, but impressive endurance. My back would have given out long before the swirls did!

Sticky in the Pro section if you ask me. I'd love to link this to potential clients who find $160 exterior buff job, too expensive!

That's less than I charge so you can imagine the flack I get about my prices, but never once have I had a customer that did not think it was worth every penny afterwards, in fact I have only ever had one customer that did not tip me at all.

Its funny the same people that complain about the prices often end up giving great tips.

Biggest tip to price ratio I have ever recieved was a $100 tip on a $200 job, so your 160 exterior buff job is just fine.

But I will use this picture among other hologram pictures I have to show why its worth it t pay more for good detailing.

Another good one is to show pictures of wheels damaged by wheel acid!

i miss seeing your C&B's. When I saw the title of this thread, I thought it would be a bit exaggerated like others I've seen in the past. Boy was I wrong! I'm always amazed at the quality of your work!

I'm speechless. i wish i could find a detailer here in sw fla. with the enthusiasm and skill you have.

Awesome job on the correction.

I am in the Window Tinting industry and see the same type scenarios all the time on my end.

People falling for low ball prices and then they get a HACK JOB in return.

This is a excellent thread to show people that they actually get what they pay for.

Absolutely STUNNING!!! I am surprised the guy didn't sue the other "shop" when they hacked his paint up!!!

"Denied any wrong doing"

Unbelievable...

I was a little skeptical when I saw the subject line on your post, but I do believe those might be the worst holograms ever. I thought I was wearing 3D glasses when I looked at the pics!

Great recovery -- I'm sure the owner really appreciated the effort!
