The worst hologams EVER!

Great work! Thanks for the info on the soft clear on these newer GMs.

Is it right to think that there are plenty of hacks to keep us busy?

Nice job great save! Thats a good example for those customers that freak out when you give them a quote of 200-250 that tell you I can get it detailed and buffed for 75 bucks down the street. Awesome recovery!

Thanks guys, it was a really challenging detail!

holland_patrick, the charge was actuallt just over $600--he tipped me a few dollars as well...

Setec Astronomy, in most cases that is absolutely true! The holograms are typically more like 6000 grit scratches while the car wash scratches are *much* deeper. In this case, the holograms were almost as bad as the carw ash marring--especially in the areas where the wool pad created "pig tails."

tdekany. thanks man! I just don't have time anymore--too much work(right now anyways). I have a ton of pics that I neeed to post, but I haven't had time. I wish I had more time!

I have the same truck coming to me on Friday (day after Thanksgiving). I hope it does not take me that long since I have another 2 cars scheduled and its just and my brother working.

I have never seen such an awful mess in my life and they denied any wrong doing.....amazing. One fine job on your part turning it into a masterpiece. Be prepared for his friends' vehicles once he spreads the word.

That has to be up there amongst the greatest recoveries. You did such an excellent job bringing that paint back to life.

That is a master piece of detailing art work . I have marked it to show people what a pro detailer can do . Truly impresssssssed .

Cheers , Jean Paul

That thing was bad! I cannot believe there's people in this world that would hack a car like that. You did an awesome turnaround! :2thumbs: way up for you, Bud!

That has got to be one of the most impressive turn arounds I've ever seen. Fantastic work!! The owner must have gone nuts when he saw it after. Great work.
