Gawd I just opened this thread for the first time... man I'm sorry to see what that punk did to your car, you must have felt gutted when you saw it for the first time after the crash. I'd post the exact words I said aloud to describe the guy that stole your car but idiot is the only word I think the Autopia filters would allow!



If you can live with a FWD, I'd second the Accord recommendation made by others. I have a 2003 Accord and I'm really happy with it. If you must have a big RWD, the Mustang has got to be worth a look, but check out forums etc. regarding recurring cylinder head problems with the V8 engine. I was very close to buying a Mustand last year but decided to wait until Ford resolve their usual first year (..erm first few years) problems with any new model. I think rjstaaf (Bob) keeps up with the latest news from Ford, you might ask him for advice if you are leaning towards buying a Mustang.
 
if you are looking for power, the 04 cobra would be a nice choice.

but i'd stay with an f-body :xyxthumbs

and on the brighter side, you can start fresh. considering you had a f-body, i think another f-body would be nice. or a mustang. gto....ah maybe. or maybe that dodge station wagon with a hemi.
 
I had my Eclipse about 3 weeks when someone tried to break in through the sunroof, I suppose to bypass the alarm. The only thing they accomplished was bending the roof panel doing $900.00 worth of damage. I can only imagine what might have happened after seeing the SS pictures!

Ohh may i also add water damage to in interior and the rear 6x8's are toast! I guess thats wut 6 inches of snow inside your car does!! grrrrr

Very sad to see such a beautiful F-body totalled.....I always fear that with my car, some jerk stealing it and taking it for a joy ride, outrunning the cops and eventually hitting a tree at 150+

If I came face to face with the person that either broke into my vehicle in any way shape or form...I would go to jail...plain and simple.



Sorry what happened, and the best way to get over it is to jump right back in the seat.



I am currently car shopping too. I am debating on a either a 2004 Dodge SRT-4, and a 2004 Stratus R/T. The Mazda3 was another choice but not quite fast enough. And the Dodge's sister cars the Mitsus are just ugly.

whats amazing is i think i still see some shine on the spoiler and the passenger door under the mirror
