*Ive posted the before pics before so I apologize if you have seen them before.*



Without going into detail at this time I will just say my car was stolen thursday afternoon from my parking lot at work, then a 56 mile high speed pursuit at speeds up to 130 mph. The Highway Patrol had to lay down a tack strip before this POS thief killed people. He hit the strip going 115 and then preceeded to roll and he was ejected.I am sorry to say he was only moderatly injured.

The car exploded and burned to its death.

aww man, terribly sorry, i cant even imagine having that happen, id want to kick his *** so bad. Hopefully insurance will take care of everything
 
SSR3 with a yellow pad would be my first step :D

I literally moaned out loud. I can't imagine how you must feel, such a beautiful car.

The bright side to this is, you get to buy a new car :)
 
That's the worst before/after I ever saw. I guess "drive it like you stole it" isn't such a good idea. Hard to believe the guy didn't get what he deserved.



What's your next step now? You obviously don't need to haggle you insurance company about the usual crap!
 
"Oh ****" was my first reaction. I didn't read everything at first, just saw the before picture and thought something was up, cause it looked very nice. Once read all the way through I'm amazed, it sucks about the car, but at least he didn't kill anyone. Good luck with the rest of this situation.
 
It might buff out. Or, Or . . . naw, probably not. Sucks to hear about that. Hopefully your insurance will take care of the infortunate accident quickly. For the next one invest in a quality alarm system and a battery shutoff and keep it out of sight.
 
*** is that :shocked :shocked :shocked . Im sorry to hear that. Your SS was one of the cleanest SS's on LS1Tech. hands down.

This leaves the door open to another Fbod or C?

Holy s*** !!!. That's just not going to buff out is it? Really sorry for your loss. Lets bow our heads in a minute of silence.
 
Man does that suck beyond description. I cant imagine the pain and anger you feel right now. Im a Ford guy, but that was still one helluva nice looking Camaro. Why is it that the losers (thiefs and drunk drivers) never get killed, its always innocent people? At least no one besides that low life POS was injured. Hope that he has a long painful recovery ahead of him before going to visit Bubba in the clink. Hopefully you can find a suitable replaement very soon!



I once had a car stolen that ended up in a similar condition. After a high speed pursuit the police CALLED OFF the chase?!?!?!?!? They found the car the next morning, on fire. Basically they stripped it and burned it,nothing left but the metal parts. It sucked.
 
If there's ever a need for profanity this is it. Was this something you had put work into as far as mods? Either way us Autopians feel the loss more than a civilian. Stay up!
 
I am glad no one was killed, including the thief. Stealing a car does not warrant death. On the other hand, I hope he does spend a good amount of time in jail. I am sorry to hear about the loss of your car, however. It did look really nice. Good luck finding a nice replacement. Though at least you have a good excuse to buy a new car. Most people have to justify a new car purchase and scrape together the money or deal with selling or tradeins. You will have a check in hand and many choices of different cars. If you are a real car nut, you probably have been itching for the chance to try a new car. I know I would.
 
While everyone else is sorry, I would like to take this chance to congradulate you on your brand NEW car. That's the way I would look at it at least.
