Some thoughts on Zaino Products...

SilverLexus

Super Enthusiast
I continue to use and enjoy these products on my car and my wife's car.

I wanted to share some observations I have had recently about various products and see if you agree or have insights on them:

1. ClearSeal is a terrific product. I am finding it is very optically clear and it seems to work well on Z-2Pro.

2. ZAIO is another great product but to be honest it seems slightly less clear to me than the pure sealants. Still it works wonderful in combination with CS on my alloy wheels.

3. I've noticed that if you apply CS right after Z-2Pro it can get slightly hazy but then it goes away after a day. I believe one might want to let the Z-2 Pro cure fully overnight (even with ZFX) before applying a layer of CS.

4. Both CS and Z-8 work well on silver door jambs.

Any thoughts or comments?

I'm intrested in Zaino, but haven't yet tried any of the range. Seeing the posts on it and a few cars in the flesh it certaily a good product.

Why only polish with Z AIO and then CS on the wheels?

i.e. the non application Z2 or Z5 pro inbetween.

Cheers

Mine as are follows...

1) Zaino is a very good looking sealant. I figure there are oily products that look better right off the bat, but 3 weeks down the road, Zaino is going strong and some of the others begin to fall off.

2) Zaino definetly layers. I have seen first hand cars with double digit coats and they looked amazingly deep and reflective.

3) Zaino wipes off easier than anything I have ever used (Z2/Z5), doesn't dust, nor stain.

4) Zaino smells good

5) Zaino outlasts anything I have tested it against to date

6) Z8 is simply the jewel of the Zaino lineup

7) Clearseal seams to be much glossier and slicker than before

8) Customer service is beyond topnotch

9) I honestly find ALL of Zaino's products to be top notch. From the leather cleaner to the glass polish and everything inbetween, everything works extremely well. Unlike Meguiars or some others that have some okay or poor products in their lineup as well, everything that Zaino products is top of the shelf (I'm not saying the best, just saying that could easily compare with the best)

10) I wish Zaino had a bigger product range (but I'm a pro).

ZAIO has cleaning properties and CS adds another layer of sealant.

I agree 100% :2thumbs:

I have been giving the "beater" a mini-detail so that I can put it for sale.

I did ZAIO via rotary and so far 2x of CS, it has a very nice warm glow sitting in the garage. Another CS tomorrow and some Z8.

Just simple steps and outstanding results.

Very well said!!!!

Well, I just did (last 2 nights) my girlfriends Eos compeltely with my Jeffs Werkstatt Acrylic kit, and added three layers of AJT, the last one with polycharger added, and left it curing in the garage untill tonight. I will be adding my first Zaino product to top this off, and hopefully to ensure durability during winter in Begium ( Lots, loooots of rain and salt ).

So I will add Z-CS to top off, but my question is how long the Z-CS takes to "cure" and settle? I ask this because my girls car stay inside untill sunday, because she out on work/seminar in Mallorca, but my daily driver will also be washed, updated with new polycharged layers of AJT and then also topped of with Z-CS ... ( but I have to drive it during day )

The plan  :

1. Tonight wash the car, get is as dry as possible, then AJT+poly ; and then top it off

tomorrow morning before I leave to work? Is this possible ?

2. Wash it tonight, dry it, AJT + poly and then leave it and drive it tomorrow...

Tomorrow evening, wash it again, dry, and then add Z-CS ( 2 layers )

1 or 2

How long does Z-CS take to dry or cure?

Drying and curing are two different processes. Depending on atmospheric conditions, it typically takes 15-30 minutes for a properly applied layer of Z-CS to dry, but can take up to several hours with low ambient temperatures, moisture, and high humidity. Full cross linking (curing) generally takes anywhere from 2-6 hours, again, depending on atmospheric conditions

Z-CS is a great product. It gave me the "wow" factor when it was the first wipe on walk away product earlier this year. It's very easy to use, especially if you want quick protection on the fly.

Z-AIO is great. This is my first All in One product, and I use this as my base coat prior to the other Z sealants. It makes my car look dark and rich, and I love the smell!

Z-8 gives me that extra boost as far as depth after an application of Z-CS. Great stuff and easy to use without breaking a sweat.

Favorite combo so far...

Z-AIO

ZFX x 2 Z-5pro

Z-CS

Z-8

As if it were coming out of my mouth :).

I'll put it this way...Even now, with a very small and focused clientèle, Zaino is still the choice for my personal and customer's vehicles.

I haven't used Zaino in years, but even back then (before ZFX) it was great stuff. I'd like to get some of the new pro versions and maybe some of their ZAIO, but I just cant justify it with all the stuff that I have right now. All these posts make me want to try it for the durability. As far as looks go....IMO, it's not on tje same level as souveran on our two black vehicles. I may revisit it one of these days because if it was that good way back when it can only be better now.
