Some thoughts on Zaino Products...

:har: You forgot Meguiars, Clearkote, Werkstatt, Poorboys, Utlima, UDM and Cyclo.

I simply thought it would be good to see if others had the same observations on ZAIO and CS that I had.

Lee, I know a shill thread when I see one and all the usual suspects joined in with the usual platitudes in marketing speak.

My thoughts on ZAIO is that it is an excellent all-in-one product and I use it pretty regularly. CS, not so much. Adds very little to the appearance and on a black 740 I used it on a couple of months ago, when I washed it today, the beading was pretty much dead. Z8 is a much better product to add pop after using Z5 or Z2 or after a wash.

Scott, that's a personal attack plain and simple as I'm not shilling at all. I wanted to see if other found ZAIO a bit less clear than Z-2 or Z-5. Not exactly shill content.

You don't see that as a personal attack?

I believe it is a very accurate description of the thread's purpose. I call it like I see it. Plus, you started down that road first.

Don't fall for the bait guys, again there are members here that want very knowledgeable detailers who use other products to be banned. Some members here are bulletproof due to the products they use, while others are a target due to the products they use.

Yea! Yea! Zaino is great! rah rah ---maybe after I try CG, Hi-temp, and Automagic, I'll get around to Zaino, I figure that will take about 5-6 years. Sorry Z boys, too much koolaid in this for me.

I think the best thing to do is try many different products and find one you like the best on your car and then use that until something better comes along.

Plus, it's fairly easy to get samples from members here.

I find it amusing how non-Zaino users try to rub it in peoples' faces who DO use Zaino that they refuse try Zaino because of all the Zealoutry. Who cares? You're not doing any of the Zaino users a favor by trying it or not.

This is getting so old.

Despite my comments in this thread, I still like and use Zaino products. Not one company makes every single product for every single situation so the more stuff I have on hand, the more likely I will have what I need. :)

I agree and am the same way. I try to just use what I think is the best out there. I like the 1Z line a lot as well and I use 303 and Pinnacle products. Depends on the car and frankly how lazy I get for some tasks.

ditto. I still use a lot of meguairs products on my car, and different brands of polishes to get my car prepped up, but when it's LSP time, it's most likely zaino.

I don't think you should bother trying Zaino. Obviously you are happy with the products you are using. I'd suggest getting TWUP, Natty's or PS. They all look great.

I don't want everyone using Zaino because when I go to the local cruise I want my car to stand out and don't want everyone knowing my secret.

That wraps it all up over and over and over again. The fun is being sucked out of this hobby by both sides of this argument. The boards are becoming more of a stress than a place for fun/sharing/learning.

It's really quite disgusting.
