So many questions...

Gewb my friend, I am sorry that you are bummed. :( Obviously there is only such much that I am at liberty to discuss (out of both personal and professional courtesy) but I will do my best to answer your questions with out crossing any lines. It is important to know that PAC still values all of our customers and is grateful to them (and will until the last light flickers out on our server).

Will PAC raise from the dead? No. This is the end of PAC/CMA as a company.

Did Jack try to sell the company? I'm not at liberty to discuss.

Could a few members try to purchase the company? I have no idea.

Will TID survive? No. :(

Will the Blackfire Line live on? I hope so. Multiple people and companies to my knowledge have expressed interest in the line, but I am not really privy to any information besides that.

Will Jack allow TID to be archived? I have no idea as Jack has so much on his plate right now I am not sure if this is even a thought of his. I will ask however. Believe me when I say that Jack is passionate about all fronts of detailing and I am sure (given the time and opportunity) he would hate to see the knowledge shared by so many great and knowledgeable people on this forum disappear.

Todd, if you read this....Please tell all the folks at PAC that they alone are the reason I have passion for this art. I have enjoyed success due to theirs and your advice. This really blows. If I find myself in FL I hope it is ok if I look up Bella Machina. Would love to share lunch and chat. You and all the guys have been so awesome. Thank you. Really!

If your in Florida and don't look me up I'll be pissed!

Politically correct and understandable

"Obviously there is only such much that I am at liberty to discuss (out of both personal and professional courtesy) but I will do my best to answer your questions with out crossing any lines." thanks for the info Todd and I hope blackfire does survive --i need to try what everyone has been raving about! so many products to stock up on and still need to feed the kids lol-maybe we can fast this week and i can get some discounted Blackfire products ;)

Where do I go now?

Very unhappy that the company that started me up polishing is going to fold. Does anyone know where Blackfire products could be purchased in the future and what the hell happens after this as it is the only polish company I have dealt with. I maybe just a customer but owe them a lot for the generous help over the years. Oh yes, I finally got the courage to look for and purchase another NSX a year after the other one was stolen. I hate car thieves as it broke my heart to see the empty car park space.

This sux.

As others have said, this has become my favorite detailing forum. Can't stand autogeek and don't go to any other forum except MOL.

Maybe I'll stay at MOL, but I really hope BFWD lives on, unchanged.

I have two unopened bottles right now, so that will last me a few years (given I only do my cars).

I wish all those inovlved at PAC good luck in the future.

I'm sure we will see the likes of Todd around with valuable insights in the future.

Thanks for all of your efforts guys!

The PBMA purchase is just a rumor from what I hear. But then again Max at PBMA said that he was going to be "aggressivly expanding" in 2011 with started with squiring detail city and autopia. I can see why people would make the logical jump. Expeciall since this was a sudden event.

BTW when are you guys going to up the discount to 50% ??

Intresting 1st post

Thanks for your valuable insight

It is quite common to speculate on everything (usually feeding on people's fears, hatreds, etc) when there is not enough information.

There was a post on Detailing World on the confidence on BFWD continuing than anything said here.

Rich Cooper, Polished Bliss.
"Well, Jack and his team have been supplying us the Blackfire range and a number of other products since 2006. As it stands right now, the Blackfire line is going to continue to be produced and we don?t foresee any stocking issues arising. The same goes for most of the other products we source from them; we already have alternative supply chain options in place. However, as a direct result of their closure, we will no longer be able to source Eimann Fabrik products, and as a result this line will be phased out of our store over the next 2-3 months."

Not trying to start anything or encourage anyone to speculate. As far as the first post, I was here to learn. No need to ask questions when using the search usually got me what I needed. I am a regular over on AGO. Same name over there.

I too am sad to see PAC go, and being in the business of purchasing I have my own opinion on whats going on. But in reality it could be 50/50 PAC was aquired or was not profitable for some reason.

You're wrong about PBMA purchasing Autopia. PBMA took control of Detail City and renamed it Autopia Forums to take advantage of the Autopia sales name.

Autopia is a separate entity and NOT a part of PBMA.

False info like this is why I have avoided a registration at AG. Seems like there's a lot of feeders on misinformation over there, and critics too.

You said, I was here to learn. Learn what? About the demise of CMA?

Please don't wander too far from AG.

Did anyone ever notice that propercarcare.com redirects to autogeek? God I hate them. They use the cheapest tactics to steal off the names of others like Autopia.
