You are aware that the winner is not determined by the number of tickets? After is is all said and done, the folks at TID will take everyone's tickets and put them into a raffle. Obviously, the more tickets that you have, the better your chances are, but is not a guarantee. Someone with one ticket could end up wining the whole thing.

It is a lot of fun though. During last year's contest, there were so many great posts, and it just added a lot of excitement to the forum.

I hope everyone posts like this after the contest is over.

I was actually thinking about posting "does anyone like to breathe?".....jk

It really is a lot more fun when they have this contest going on. There are some of those borderline posts (not that there's anything wrong with that), but there are so many great details to look at, and great questions being asked. The contest last year really got me hooked on TID.:notworthy:

I'm normally just a lurker since I know nothing about detailing. Heck, until three months ago I (*gasp*) only used a single bucket to wash my car. :w00t:

I just come here to learn and soak it all in. I'm only interested in keeping my own cars as clean as possible so they'll look new for as long as possible. But given this contest, I may just start posting all those dumb questions I've always been too embarrassed (sp?) to ask.

Please remember, your tickets in the contest depend on your thread and posting totals. Just because you said to count you in, does not count as a complete vote.
Remember the voting goes like this:

  1. One ticket for each thread started (except in the Off-Topic area)
  2. One ticket for every five posts made in a car care discussion area.
  3. One ticket for every ten posts in an off-topic area.
  4. One ticket for every $20 spent at PAC. Please be sure to include your screen name in the comments section of the order.
  5. If you refer a new member, you get 1/2 of their points total towards your point total.


So, keep the posting coming!
If you have only entered the contest, you need to have at least five posts, or a thread, etc to your credit to have at least one ticket in the drawing.
