This is the one I used to put out on doors and cars when I was first starting out. I think the last time I put out flyers was in 1996, so bear that in mind when you see the prices!

BTW, my brother designed them. :up

Also if it feasible, use a before and after picture of a customers car. Maybe some customer quotes too, especially customers with
high end cars. This type of marketing has worked very well for a long time now.

edit: well I'm not sure how it can be confusing, but I guess I will reiterate... I said or meant or whatever, put on the flyers quotes from CUSTOMERS. You know satisfied customers saying how great their cars turned out: QUOTES!
clear?
emobob said:I would just play on that need, and assure the buyer that you are the best, and take the greatest care with the vehicles.

Probably too cheap even then!
You are correct about pricing your work too cheaply-either you end up with discount shoppers who tend to have the nastiest vehicles or want extra work for free, or you turn off potential customers who don't think you can do quality work for such a low price.
subterfuge-What I mean by protect weather stripping is to use a rubber/vinyl protectant on them to keep them supple and new looking.
emobob-In 1996, printing photos on flyers was not as easy or inexpensive as it is today. I do have a lot of pictures (some before and after, most just after to show the range of vehicles I have detailed) on my website, in addition to a photo album I keep with me to show new customers (and 8 more filled albums at home-I have well over 1000 pics of different cars).
I don't really know how you can convey the quality of your work on a simple flyer other than by putting out a professional looking flyer. I think by specifically stating what would be done to the car and promoting the use of Meguiars products (most people have heard of Meguiars) is about the most you can do. Anyone can make up quotes. I see quotes in advertisements and ignore them since I have no way to determine the validity of them.
Jngrbrdman-My brother is a system's analyst for a law firm and is very adept at computers and anything you can do with them. I came up with the idea of cars in the background and the text and he came up with the road for the borders and the overall design.
He also does my gift certificates.
LedZep-maybe the hosting site was temporarily down or your settings are messed up. Here is the direct link:
