I feel for ya'. I was about $500 ahead in October over October of 2001 on the 15th and ended up almost $1000 down because we had 13 days of rain the last 16 days of the month.



This is the 3rd year in a row we have had above normal rainfall. ENOUGH! From now on, it can only rain on Sunday nights, starting at 11 PM and ending at 3 AM Monday morning and we can get 3/4ths of an inch. That way we will get our 30-35 inches of rain a year and I won't ever have a rain out again.



Well, if I had my way, that's the way it would work.

I've been slammed the past few weeks-in fact, this has been the best two weeks surrounding Christmas and New Year's Day I've ever had. In addition, the Dallas area had 10" of rain more than normal this year, in fact, 6" more than last year and I was still up on the year $2000 over last year with no price increase...especially good since we had a ton of rain through mid June and I was down nearly $1500 by the end of June. Made all it up plus an additional $2000!



If the weather stays like it has been the last few week (rain on Monday, nice the rest of the week) for the rest of the winter, 2003 should be a very good year!



BTW, how is it going up in the great white north? How much business do you get this time of year?

Glad to hear you're doing well. We are so busy I can't keep up! December's sales were up over $6000.00 and we turned a tidy profit of over $3000.00 (a first for December!). We usually start to taper off as soon as the snow falls but it really hasn't made a difference this year (it's so weird to have cars lined up out the door when it's snowing like hell!). January is off to a strong start too and if things continue we should have a hell of a year! Let's hope good fortune continues to shine on both of us!
