Selling my Beloved Bimmer

Barry - sorry to hear about your situation. It does suck to be unemployed, especially for longer than a few months (been there, done that, done care to repeat at all). Luckily I didn't have to part with a vehicle, but yeah I hear ya. I may PM you on your past experience for some equip. pointers.

Harry,
Yea, it sucks, but I have to dwal with it and move on.
You can PM me anytime you want. I would love to hear from you, and I will help in any way that I can.
Im sorry for you Barry .

I hope you now have less money stress at least .

Are you buying another vehicle?

Thanks DC.
Although it was a very emotional and stressful day giving up my baby, the money stress is gone.
I purchased a 2010 Toyota Carola. Not exactly my first choice, but it is not froever. I will get a bimmer again someday!!!

2010 Toyota corrolla not so bad!! I drive a Toyota and I love how it drives and handles!

What color is it ? You need to wash and detail it so you can bond with it :):Car smiley:

there is a BIG DIFFERENCE between how BMW handles, and how Toyota handles...Toyota leans (literally) at corners, or if you try to do sudden lane change at high speeds...my brother had a Corolla, and I now how it handles...but hey, it was better then my first Geo Metro...
BMWs don't lean in corners (I have '04 E46 325Ci, and '09 E70 X5 4.8 sport), I tried to do sudden lane change on X5 at 100 MPH on a freeway, and it handled it WITHOUT ANY LEAN/BODY ROLL.

Sorry to remind you about BMW, Barry, one day you can buy it again...

It is metalic black. I figured if I was going to get a car that didn't really excite me, I needed a color that would challenge me.

Oh, I WILL own one again!

All I know is my toyota van handles just like a car. Ive never had a BMW nor a Corolla so if theres a big difference in handling I guess you will have to adapt to your new car . No big deal , we are adaptable creatures :D

Im sure your new car is beautiful Barry . You will learn to love it in a different way and when the time is right you will have another BMW if thats what you want .

Dont worry Barry, its just a phase in life. You'll for sure get back a similar car. Maybe the new X6?

Thats one car in my dream car list.:driving:

Sorry to hear about this, but cars can be replaced, bills you cannot ignore, your credit is more valuable than a car, the silver lining is, the next BMW you decide to get, go all out !!

Sorry to hear about your troubles. Speaking from experience, The hardest thing is to keep motivated and not get down. Make sure you're on LinkedIn with a full profile, have some other people look at your resume and make sure it is tight. Also try and get an accountability group together (small group of folks to keep each other on track). Stay busy, stay strong, good things will happen!
