Practice makes "PERFECT"
This tread for North Carolina people or anyone who wants to reply. This guy i know has a brand new F-250 that just wants a wash and vacume just a basic clean up job. He wants me to drive to Cary to do this job for him. Keep in mind i live about a 45 min. drive from him. What would you charge?

:lmfao Okay okay okay. I call Cary Scary Cary mainly cause its DAMN dark here and they don't have alot of light even though the population and city can handle it easily. Also, I just detest this place, so sorry for the misconception. (I come from a big city)

Cary is extremely safe (least crime / capita I think) and there are alot of wealthy people here. I suggest you charge him your usual price list and offer some other special services. 45 Minutes is a long way so make it worth your while.

Maybe its time I change that Location :LOLOL

:lmfao Thanks....... Actully this guy lives on ten-tenclose to Holly Springs Rd . I did it once for him before for a favor $30.00 Mna what a favor!!!!!!!

With the price of gas what is I'd hit em up for some extra cash . 45 mins one way is a long drive . Time is money $$$$ :lmfao

How much should I charge a guy thats 25 minutes away from me for a new full size truck for just a wash and vacuum i charge 20 bucks for trucks if their near me gas price 2.20 a gallon ???

Well does the person bring you the truck or you go to where the truck is. To make a long story short i want ever drive 45. mins away anymore for $30.00 bucks! Second..... I normally charge for a wash and vacucme depending on vehicle say a full size pickup $35 to $40 and thats bring the vehicle to me

For me, anything outside a 25mi radius, there is a $0.25/mi round trip surcharge. There are exceptions, however, most understand drive time & the recent rise in fuel prices.

.25/mile is REALLY cheap.

The going rate here is $.38/km. That works out to about a buck a mile.

I wouldn't hesitate to charge him that much ($1/mile that is). Say, $60 or $75 for the job isn't out of line. Hell, he would spend that much on lunch.

I wouldn't go there for less than $900

Just tell him your worth it!

JK, if its a 1.5 hour round trip, I'd charge $20/hour, so an extra $30 on top of your normal rate.

you could also tell him if he can hook you up with extra clients in his area then you can knock off some of the fee for making it worth your while..........
