I believe that any country with a vibrant manufacturing base is stronger than one without such a base. I am not saying that purchasing foreign manufacured cars is "evil' or "unpatriotic". However I do believe that it is unpatriotic to actively root for the destruction of U.S. manufacturers. I purchased a new Nissan pickup in 1993 which was manufactured here in Tennessee. With the current precarious state of the U.S. auto companies, I now feel a personal desire to purchase domestic cars even though they may be sourced or assembled elsewhere. I want to support American companies where possible. (Guess that means I need to shoot you an order pretty soon!)
