Rumors of GM buying Chrysler group

I believe that any country with a vibrant manufacturing base is stronger than one without such a base. I am not saying that purchasing foreign manufacured cars is "evil' or "unpatriotic". However I do believe that it is unpatriotic to actively root for the destruction of U.S. manufacturers. I purchased a new Nissan pickup in 1993 which was manufactured here in Tennessee. With the current precarious state of the U.S. auto companies, I now feel a personal desire to purchase domestic cars even though they may be sourced or assembled elsewhere. I want to support American companies where possible. (Guess that means I need to shoot you an order pretty soon!);)

LOL yup! The stereotypically all-American F-150. :)

No excuse for your Subie though ;)

Oh no, the Impreza is straight from Japan. But I can tell you this. Both of the Imprezas have had their share of rattles which I have not experienced, knock on wood, with the F-150 yet. However the Ford just hit 4000 miles last weekend. LOL
