Peyton Manning is nothing like what you think.

:lol:Yeah, this isn't a hit piece by someone who has an agenda....

It's written by King. What would he have to gain by attempting to bring down Manning? His accuser- the woman he worked to destroy, has not spoken publicly of the incident that cost her career whatsoever. So explain to me exactly how anyone has made a hit on Manning or has an axe to grind. You can't, because facts required to make that claim don't exist.

You don't think this coming out now has anything to do with him being in the spotlight so much lately?
Seems odd to not say anything for 20 years.

You clearly haven't read the articles or examined the facts, and you seem to have trouble with critical thinking.

Facebook and Twitter weren't around when this stuff happened. His father intervened to keep things quiet. His team of attorneys worked very hard to seal documents and hide information to keep this all quiet. The article mentions the fact that if this happened today, it would have played out very differently.

The bottom line is this article makes multiple references to 74 pages worth of court verified FACT proving Manning repeatedly lied and worked to destroy someone for his own personal gain. Under oath, every single detail of his claims have been refuted by teammates and other people that worked with the woman he trashed. What did all those people have to gain by telling the truth under oath contradictory to Manning? Dignity.

People like you will never get it.

Is this the story of him mooning some reporter? If it is who gives a crap he was 20 or whatever. If thats the worst thing he has done man, hes an angel....

At least he hasnt killed anyone or punched out his g.f. and dragged her out of the elevator ....

You might want to do some more research before you keep typing. That story is based in fact and ESPN tried to run with it at the time.

It was more like teabagging a female trainer examining him lol.

I get what you're saying, but if everything went down like the article was claiming, it's a much bigger deal than a dumb prank

Oh no, another celebrity/fame worshiper could be a bad person! Seriously in this day where there's people paid to create an image and people paid to destroy an image I don't put much stock in anything or any story anymore. Shock sells and I'm to old to care,it's to the point to where if you care about a person, place or thing you'll be disappointed at some point.

And why do you (or should we) care so much about Peyton Manning?

Everybody puts the dude on some pedestal of being just a world class all around great guy with a perfect record. Hes far from it, and his family and he have used their name to work very hard to create this image at the expense of others.

Once he got the money and fane, he could have had a crisis of conscience and made right on the situation but he didnt. A stand up guy wouldve owned up and fixed it but he further worked to undo her. Its absolutely despicable.

Really? The other poster merely provided a different perspective on the topic and now he has to reevaluate his critical thinking?

Seeing how angry you get about Manning makes me wonder what it's like to be someone you have a personal disagreement with!

He made a claim that King's article was invalid because King had some clear agenda against Manning. What is King's axe to grind, then? If you're going to refute the validity of the article in entirety purely because of timing, then you'd better have evidence- such like was referenced in the article- to back up a claim like that.

Basically, he likes Peyton Manning because of the image of him being such a great guy and simply refuses to believe the well documented proof to the contrary and simply dismissed the article because it goes against what he believes. Thats a strong lack of critical thinking. Plain and simple.

No, NOT EVERYBODY. Maybe your group of friends put sports players/actors/musicians on pedestals but not EVERYBODY. And IMO NOBODY should but thats just a fantasy in this world.

Whatever you say. Not a hill I want to die on.

Have you read any of Shaun Kings other work?

He seems to have an agenda.

Have you read the other side of this story, or just Mr. Kings version, with selected information from the "investigation"?
