opti-seal is here...

Can you put CS over Opti-seal, or would that be like armageddon?

Yes, I think CS over Opti-seal may very well rip the fabric of time and space itself...

So unless you want the chaos, anarchy, guilt and requisite media attention generated by forming a wormhole right here in the good ol' USA, I think that's best left undone.

I just hope Al-Qaeda doesn't find out about this...

Is OS actually in the distributors hands ready for shipping or is everything still pre-ordering?

When will OS be available direct from Optimum? On their Website no OS literature yet?

TIA

It ships from manufacturer, not distributor. It still has to go to distributor and then they have to ship it to you. You wont be using it by this weekend most likely, so maybe you should "S-T yourself".

To all mods.....

I'm not stating this for advertisement but to just inform. If you need to edit this I understand.

It was agreed between David and I that OptiSeal would be available through the Optimum Store first and as soon as the labels had been completed and in Davids hands I could start pre-sales. We'll we had a bigger response than we had anticipated so what may happen (and I emphasize "may") is those orders will be sent directly from the Optimum warehouse.

So those who pre-ordered your orders will be shipped this week and some may have theirs by this weekend.

OptiSeal is not designed to be applied by machine.....although I'm sure someone somewhere is going to try it.....it is designed for hand application.

Terrycloth and microfiber applicators work well but we have found that sponge, a very dense sponge, is best for application.

are these the same applicators that are included? is the application front to back on hood, roof and trunk. top to bottom on side panels?

Nope, different pads. The pads included with the Opti-Seal are small applicator sponges.

OS can be applied just as you would a paste wax. Light circular and slightly overlapping motions.

ScottWax:

I just starting using the Werkstatt products Prime:Strong and AJT. Have you tried OptiSeal over AJT? Does it make any real visible improvements or difference?

Thanks,

Duke

Duke-yes, Opti-Seal adds a wetter look to Acrylic Jett. However, I don't know if it matches AJ's 7-8 months (for me) durability.

Hmm... I want to try this stuff. I wonder how it would look over Zaino... LOL!!

I dont know why this is funny, but from what I have heard, you can top it over ZAIO and Z-5 pro. Dont know about the others.

If Scott claims that opti-seal looks different as far as looks, then I'll want to try some of this stuff.

Z-CS, IMO has a slight look to it. I think it makes "my" car look more refelective similiar to Z-2p.
