Well it turned up today, and I have to be honest it was brought on a wim, to try it out and see what it was all about, I really didnt think I would like it as much as I did, the whole spray wax is new to me, let alone a lasting sealant one. I see why so many people like it, ( well - I will do if it has some good durabilty). I seems odd that a lasting protection should be so easy to use. I was bad enough for chucking on another coat off paste wax after a wash, but can see with the OCW I wont be able to help myself!
I QD the car as it had been in the garage afer washing at the weekend. Was not totally confident to go the spray on and wipe off route, so with a new yellow foam hand pad, I sprayed the pad with a couple off shots and went to it. Using a Sonus der wunder buffing towel I went round the car panel by panel - one at a time. Spray on pad, wipe on, wipe off. I am gald I did it this way as it used hardly any product at all, one small spray on the applicator does a whole panel, or half a roof or hood. I am sure I would have used lots more spraying on. One MF worked fine to do all the removal on my small hatch back. Never has a sealant been so easy to use.
Its on my black garage queen so will try and get it on a real car at the weekend, to test durabilty. Looks wise the car had recently had Souveran and nattys on it before getting caught out in a huge rain storm on Saturday coming back from a show - was not happy. Car looked very deep and wet after application but I am not sure how much off the look is down to it the OCW, or the wax on it already. No pictures tonight as it was getting dark. Was well pleased with look asI tucked her back away. Will try and grab some in the next few days and hopefully see if it in the sun see if it has muted any flake.
Well worth the buy IMO ideal for applying after a wash, if you are pushed for time, coat effective as I think a little will go along way, (was my concern that it would use to much), great looks. It may be discussed lots on here, but it cetainly is not hype. Just need to see how it hold up on some daily cars.
Quick question, any adavantage or worth applying a second coat?
