NXT2.0 at walmart!

I see where youre coming from. Sometimes youve got to pick the product that works best for your situation. My Jeep doesnt have much plastic on it besides the door handles and some trim on the roof but my parents have a Grand Cherokee Laredo which has plastic molding EVERYWHERE.. So I use a wax that doesnt leave residue on plastic for it. :)

Alittle blue painters tape helps ALOT too. More so if youre going to be doing a full detail.

Yeah, I got it and the goatse.cx picture you so graciously included. :bolt

hahahaha!

Man I'm not even a quarter of the way done with the bottle NXT 1.0... I can't pass this deal up though. I'll head up there tomorrow.

I happened to be in Wal-Mart today and these kits were nowhere to be seen. IIRC in prior years the new products seemed to appear earliest in the geographic regions closer to the Meg's plant in TN; I'm guessing some of that is pure logistics and some that the warmer areas of the country are going to be in detailing weather first.

their plant is in TN?..interesting...good reason of why we have it first..

how much is the package worth anyways..like if items were bought seperatly? I did a quick estimate at around 40 bucks?

IIRC that's where the company was started (as a furniture polish company, they got into cars when cars had wood bodies). They moved the headquarters and I guess some R&D out to CA some time later as that was the "car crazy" place to be.

I've had it on a few vehicles since mid to late September, holding up well on all...including the BMW 750 that unfortunately got washed by the dealer. :nervous2:

That's definatley a lot longer than the first version. I'm going to have to get some to try out.

I've been to 4 walmarts and havent seen this. All I can find is the armor-all gift pack. I hope I dont recieve one for a xmas present(AA).

iirc, they moved the distro from irvine to tennessee because it was cheaper, and alot bigger to house the inventory. i remember many years back, when i could buy the products on will call at the irvine headquarters...

Ok I went about 20miles south from where I live to a Super Walmart (Massaponax, VA)and guess what I found. Yes I am now part of the Meguiars Kit family. I would have taken a picture, but I forgot my phone. They have plenty of them left.

If some of you guys want me to Pickup some of these kits then I can go and get them for cost + shipping. I would still think that it was a better deal than buying everything seperatly. Just PM and we can talk about it.

I said the same thing till I checked on shipping and it was $15 with USPS and $20 for UPS. That was to California though and Im in Kentucky, but that was still insane.

Not all wal marts are created equal...

I absolutely abhor, hate and despise wal mart.

With that being said.... spending a few minutes taping trim and following directions saves a lot of time!

The Meg's site is down right now, but it appears that the founding Meguiar was from IN, and they moved the company to Pasedena in 1913. So that may be correct that TN came after CA, I may have misremembered where they were before but I knew that CA was not the original location.

Just snagged me a box (Central IL)..as if I needed more stuff...but between my curiosity of UQD (but not the $10 pricetag) and Scottwax's positive review of NXT 2.0..I couldn't resist..it's like paying for NXT and UQD and getting the rest for free
