NXT2.0 at walmart!

Sounds like it was a closeout. The ultimate quick detail spray is great, and I think noticabely better than the original. And the nxt2 is decent. I had trouble with it not coming all the way off on the hood of my car. In some angles I could still see the wax on the car.
 
I did a half and half of V1 and V2 on my hood the weekend before Easter.



As of today (only about 1 month and 4 washes with GC or NXT)..pretty much zero difference in looks and feel..MAYBE a very slight slickness advantage to the v2 side (could easily be psychological) .but the rain droplets have behaved identically since day one.
 
I grabbed one of the discounted Meg's kits the other day for $15 at Walmart as well. I didn't really need any of it, but for $15, it was hard to pass up. I might go back for more...there were at least 20 of them still on the shelf.

Amen to that! I'm also from Manitoba.

We have a pretty horrible selection of OTC products here =(
 
Update on my half half v1 v2 test:



still no difference and both look spent as in pretty much no beading (I know it could still be protecting). If you have v1, I don't think I'd bother with v2. Just my experience.



Some notes.. it was pretty cool when I applied them and the v2 seemed to take a bit longer to cleanly wipe away. I may retry this after a good polish this weekend..but so many LSPs to play with :)

Poorboys Red Paste Wax. It smells like strawberries! (Too bad it was limited edition, and discontinued)
 
I saw this Kit in the clearance section in a big metal rack in front of the car section of wal-mart like a month ago, wasn't sure if any of it was good seeing how it was so cheap

I had e-mailed Poorboys and Steve over there said that it will be most likely made again in June for a short run.



It's a pretty good wax.
