NXT2.0 at walmart!

I used to love the look of the original NXT, the durability was pretty bad but main reason I stopped using it was because of how bad it stained black trim. Any word on how well NXT 2.0 plays with trim?

$25 :hm

NXT 2.0 is going to set me back $30 on its own here!! Its a shame Mothers dont put together some bundles too.

Awesome package, im looking forward to trying this new NXT or the new #21.

Sounds like it won't be any different. That was the worst thing about the original formula.

:nixweiss I never noticed a problem with trim using the original NXT, haven't with this version either.

Ryan-I was not suprised at the included picture. ;)

NXT stained my trim on my old G35 Coupe like CRAZY. I think it was the first product I'd ever used that did that so it took me by surprise. Had a lot of clean up to do afterwards.

NXT ruined my trim also. It hasn't looked the same since and I haven't found a product that will make it look better and last. One of these days I will have to resort to dying my trim.

I dunno, my friend Jr's '03 Sonata has rubber trim around everything (door handles, grille, windows, headlights), and something in the all-Meguiar's regimen we used on it way back stained the crap out of all the rubber and textured plastic. The LSP's we were using then were Gold Class and then NXT, but we were prepping with the Meg's polishes. I recall masking the trim before polishing, and by the time we were polishing it we had stopped using the GC. Possibly the masking was removed before using a pure polish. I remember blaming the horrible staining on the NXT at the time. I'm sure some of the problem was beginning Autopianism and not being careful enough (heck, I remember decades ago when badges on cars were plated zinc and used to corrode, I used to on purpose wax the badges and not be able to get the wax off around and in them :o ).

I dont get the wax on the trim in the first place so Ive never had trouble getting it off. :LOLOL

Well, as I indicated, an '03 Sonata is really tough because it's got these thin rubber gaskets around everything, including painted areas you want to wax (like the semi-flush door handles). Maybe I'm just not that good, but it's easier for me to use a product that doesn't stain. I love using stuff like #16 or IW or SG that you can get on trim to your heart's content and if anything it improves the look.

I don't think I should have to worry about if I'm getting wax on trim or not this day in age as there are PLENTY of products that not only do not stain trim, but are great for conditioning and protecting trim.

NXT and Griot's Best of Show wax are bad about this IME.
