New ONR?

There is no third version of OCW as far as I know. I was referring to the OP who inferred that a new version would be OCW2. I have used both OCW and OCW2 and love them both. OCW2 is definitely slicker than the original version.

ONR version nr 2 seems almost perfect, I will order the new one asap of course.. A new Optiseal would be nice though, I think the current one is a bit difficult to use and I think OCW leaves a better looking finish..

Something not so concentrated, easy to wipe on/off and even better durability than OCW is on my wish list..

Gosh, I want to try ONR2, but I just ordered 2 gallons of ONR1 from 2 different dealers who are each running their respective 25% off & 50% off ONR1 gallons :faint:.

I love the 7-UP smell of ONR1'd water. Very pleasant.

How does the new cherry-scented ONR2'd water compare? In your opinion, of course.

:nixweiss I find that Opti-Seal is extremely easy to use. The only times I get streaking is if I haven't fully wiped off the polish before applying OS.

I do agree that OCW leaves a somewhat better look.

Micheal-scents are very subjective but I like the new one, you get a nice whiff every time you reach into the bucket for the wash mediums.

Redline-me too so that gallon will be used up on wheels and fenderwells. Did the same thing with the QEW I had left over when ONR first came out. Of course, for someone just washing their own vehicles, that might not be a cost effective solution.

Like everyone else I was tempted to stock up on the old ONR. I prefer to have the latest and greatest so I just ordered the new formula from AG. I will use what I have left on everyone elses car but mine.

+1

Honestly, I find OCW easier to use, slicker, better looking, and at least as durable as OS.

Looking forwards to using the new ONR. I'm glad to hear they got rid of the "Pine-Sol" scent in favor of something more pleasant.

I'm not a big ONR user, but I'm sure sorry to hear the new version has a cherry scent...yuck :(

Yeah yeah....can't please everybody and if ONR is gonna disappoint anyone it might as well be me; sounds like its regular users are OK with it.

I've read the official scent is Mulberry. If it's anything like the Tree Air Freshener's version of Mulberry, then it will smell like pixy stix or kool-aid powder mix.

Ah, that would probably suit me a lot better than cherry. I'm funny when it comes to "food scented" products..

Scents are so subjective. I seem to be the only one who doesn't like the scent of Meguiars #40.

I was tempted to and did stock up on the Old formula via a vendors $30 a gallon + free shipping and 15% off sale... once i heard the new one was cherry/berry scented. Scott you're right sometimes scents drive you crazy sometimes they don't. I love the old stuff so much/hate cherry scented stuff that i took the savings and will enjoy using it until sawdust-scented v4 comes out :-)

That makes two of us! I would not use Meg's #40 in the interior of any of our cars just because of the smell. :nixweiss
