Question: Is LS "D" an improvement on #20 or #26, or is it a totally new product?
Lab Sample is a 100%, new and unique formula completely unlike any other formula ever created by Meguiar's, (or any other company for that matter).
It was completely engineered from raw materials, by Meguiar’s chemists, in what is referred to the
Secret Room, right up the stairs and down the hall from my mess...
I mean office.
My definition of the word
office:
Office: A room with
more stuff than shelves and drawers to contain everything.
(Yeah, yeah yeah...
I'm all over it... I'll have it cleaned up in a jiffy,
right after I do whatever else it is I'm working on...)
Lab Sample D/E is the
Next Generation of state-of-the-art chemistry developed by Meguiar's for people who are passionate about their car’s finish, and in the case of people who detail cars professionally, their customer’s car’s finish.
Tomorrow, If I’m lucky, I will be meeting the owner of one of the original
Batmobiles. If I’m even luckier, the owner will give me permission to detail his treasure. If I am granted this blessing, (a detailers dream come true), I will not hesitate to use this
next generation of polymer technology as a last step product, (LSP), after first massaging-out the existing defects and bring the surface to a super smooth, high gloss finish.
In my life, without exception, every Car Show that I have went to, that featured a car like the Batmobile, or Cadizilla, (or whatever), in my eyes, the finish has looked like
Dog Doo.
Dog Doo is a descriptive term I use to describe finishes that look horrible, i.e. finishes that are hazy, scratched and swirled-out.
Car’s like these should look like glistening gemstones, not as though they have been through a
Slop & Glop detail shop and then subjected to a sand storm followed up by a detergent wash job.
This product is coming out in the Consumer line, but I have
strongly urged that it is also made available in the Professional line for professional craftsman to showcase their talent and to help them to be successful, (i.e. make a profit)
