the first time i used 105 i was tempted to go directly to the final polish myself...105 finishes well. have yet to try 205 but i will this spring for sure..

I agree.I love these two products. My only complaint is that I can't always get a haze-free finish with M205/DA polisher, regardless of pad or technique (soft paint).

Before I tried it, I thought it was all hype. Now it's my Number 1 combination! The best compound/polish combo I've ever used. Nothing better in my book!:clap:
There's definitely noticeable marring from the 105/orange. So, I'll follow 105 with 205, Griot's DA, and white pad on speed 4 with a few section passes, light pressure. Helps a bit. Then I'll try the same thing with a black pad, helps a bit more, but in the end, there's still polish induced marring after an IPA wipe down. What technique do you use? Generally speaking.What are your techniques guys? I find 205 works very well on soft paints with the DA, maybe I can help you out
105 and 205 are fantastic products, just make sure a thorough IPA wipe down is carried out after each as they can mask/fill light defects from time to time..
