Hi guys,
I haven't been on here in ages..glad to see the forum still rocks..
I just picked up a 1992 Mustang GT after thrashing my original 92 in a t-bone accident..the 20 or so layers of Zaino that were on it didn't save it much
.. I ll post pics later on.
Anyhow the issue:
This 92 all white GT came from Florida and after doing a SSR2.5 on it and the PB polish..I don't see any improvement.. I used an orange pad with the 2.5 - I was going to use a yellow pad but I had no more.
I want to prep it for Zaino treatment I have a few bottles from a year or so ago..I hope they're still good.
Now should I Dove wash it then clay bar and then Dove it again and start with a SSR 2.5 with yellow pad?
The car looks clean but doesn't have that potential feel of looking like glass...I don't know if you know what I mean- the car looks clean - it shines but it's not really shiney from beneath the skin if you know what I mean..
The feel is slick yes, the PB did a nice job...but it's like a mirror that has the under layer of glass kind of chipped and non reflective...
Is this a permanent issue or does doing the steps I mentioned have any potential for getting crystal again...
Thanks
