Introducing HD's New DA Polisher Kit!!!

SPEED = 75% HD POLISH + 25% HD POXY

SPEED will cut just as good as POLISH, but leave a soft finish behind with some very nice protection. I also think it adds a noticeable improvement of gloss too. Unlike just the ala carte operation of applying a basic sealant, with SPEED you're basically burnishing in a sealant into the finish.

Thanks for the insight. :up

We made a bunch of videos, and HD POLISH cut faster than HD SPEED. However SPEED was really good with the flex 3401 and an HD yellow cutting pad.

All I know is that SPEED cleans paint up Beautifully and the beading action on vertical surfaces is top notch! I think it's time to invest in some Poxy!

Hey Guys,

The guys upstairs are still gotta keep this under wraps. (In truth, I don't know much till they get here and I can try one for myself.)

From what I know, Tunch and his team are working on a video which explains in detail and will release it upon launch.

From what I heard, it acts like a forced rotation as in cutting abilities like a Flex while acting like a RO. (No heat.)

My understanding is the rotation pattern is different from other polishers and the polisher acts different at different speeds.

When you set the dial to low speed (1 to 2) and fast speed (5 to 6), it creates less vibration, but more rotation. At speeds 3-4 creates more random osculation and less rotation.) It is a truly multifunctional polisher.

I will have to open one up the day it arrives and try it myself.

Sounds promising...any word on an ETA yet? Even a ballpark time? I'm going to purchase another polisher soon so I'll hold off a while if need be.

I'm confused.

Its actually random. Just keeping you guys on your toes. :caked: :pound: :croc:

The pdf David had is a early work mock up. If you zoom in on the picture of the boxes, you will see it says random orbital.

They are on the boat, from China. 3 weeks is what I heard from Tunch, but there is no way to tell exactly.

I said in another post, I think it is Barry, David and I who have used both the GG and the 3D polisher. To me the GG sounded smoother and more powerful, but the 3D pc was the more effective machine. It corrected very well. Felt more like the flex3401 as far as results. Behaved like a true PC though. Easy to control.

Gotcha. That makes more sense.

I'm intrigued by the concept you described with the machine acting different at different speeds; I'll be interested to hear if that's done with some sort of electronic circuit or if there's something unique with the mechanical components. And by the same token I wonder if it has a cruise control circuit like the G110v2 (one of the main reasons that is my current traditional-DA of choice).

I'd never know that. For me there is only one speed! :D

I do like SPEED a lot. I see the Honda Element every day I experimented with the SPEED and then layered on Optimum Car Wax over top. The sucker still looks clean and well kept after a few weeks and torrential downpours here in South Georgia. I know the owner is very happy with the results.

Maybe there's something to this SPEED + a wax or sealant topper beyond the average 2 coats of a was or sealant.

Works for me. :)

What am I missing here?

I'm on 3d website under polishers/machines, the 3d polisher is only 40$ and the other options are 150-200$ like PC7424...

Is the 3d machine not a replacement for a PC7424? I thought it was suppose to be better, if it is great, but for 40$?

Thanks

I was trying to find a link to purchase this I am in Canada but from what I gather in the first post this is only valid at Costco/Walmart? Any links or places where I can order this? Thanks

I'm interested, almost pulled the trigger on some other gear before seeing this post... When/where can I get it? Got a black car waiting :)

the $40 polisher is a rotary if i'm not mistaken and can cause damage if used incorrectly. the new HD DA polisher is more versatile and is safer as well. i would save up and purchase that instead. with all the advancements in pads/products these days, you should be able to tackle whatever comes your way... :)

The 3D Polisher is a rotary polisher similar to other low end machines under $50. Its fine for a weekend consumer who wants a rotary without spending an arm and a leg. It its not really for long term industrial use though.

The HD Polisher that I think your looking for is out of stock atm. No date of when the next shipment will be in.
