Just wondering if it would be ok to use products like Klasse or Zaino on Awlgrip (US Paints "Two Component Linear Aliphatic Polyester Polyurethane"
paint). I’m helping refurbish/restore a Peterson 34’ and it was painted with Awlgrip. I’ve always known it was a no-no to use traditional waxes on Awlgrip because it attracts dirt and yellows (why, I'm not sure). I figure you must be able to protect it after you polish so I visited their website and the recommend their own polymer sealer. Just curious if there is good reason for this or just the usual “shampoo with brandX, followed by brandX conditioner type marketing. Sorry this so off topic but there’s a good chance there’s an expert (*cough Ron cough*)
