Grout pad

I made a Duck Fart
Hi Guys i went to Lowes today and purchased a grout pad for$1.98. This thing works great to wash a car with I have a black ford focus and what i could tell (NO SWIRLS AT ALL). What i used was a foam gun and a bucket with just water to rinse the sponge with.

Al,

Are you part of the Grout Sponge religion now? LOL. If so, welcome to the club!

i still use both the sheepskin mitt and GS, it depends on my mood LOL...

Think I have to take the plunge and get one soon...I guess you can't really go wrong at $1.87. :grinno:

I went to lowes and checked them out this past weekend. Opened up the pack and it wasnt soft at all. I put it back on the shelf. :)

I picked up two Prolines today at Lowes. The sponge is slightly smaller than the HD GS but feels just as soft. Smaller size would make it perfect for wheels.

I bought two the other day since I was at Lowes anyway, I've used it twice, so far no swirling or problems.

Still using microfiber/ulti mits on customer cars until I have "long term" results.

I've tried both and don't think you can go wrong either way. I did notice that there were tiny pieces of the proline in the bottom of my grit guard bucket so it is definitely softer than the Qep from HD.

Does it not seem weird that youre using some old cleaning sponge on your paint? :grinno:

I cant really stand it any longer, I should of picked one up. :chuckle:

Did you get the right one? It is yellow. They have other ones that are not soft. You must have gotten the wrong one because this one is super soft.
