Found some deals on steamers! commercial too!

Well after doing a lot of research over at mobileworks forum, they all seem to say the Vapor Master 3000 is the best. But the price tag is over $2000.

I was searching on the internet and I found a company that sells these direct and it is the exact machine as the VM3000, but with a different #. Both are made in Italy and have the same specs. This one is only $595 and they are in Maine. Wierd!

That is a huge savings and I am surprised that these mobile detailing start-up companies mark these up this much. Sad!

Here is the site. Do some research and see what I mean. The pictues of the 2 are the same.

Steam Cleaner - Steam Cleaners - Vapor Cleaner - Commercial Steam Cleaners

They do look the same...looks like a nice machine..plenty of tools also...

Dam you can drive there to get it and save shipping...plus meet the people and get a demo....

After 10 hours of research, the only difference is the name tag and the hose. The detail company charges an extra $1200 for the hose or that's what they are doing anyway. That's a huge mark-up. I think I might get the one for $595 and order the hose from the other company. It should be under $100 or around for the hose.

Nice find, I'm just starting up my detail business and this is exactly what I've been looking for, just couldn't justify spending well over $1,000 to clean carpets and matts with.

Thank you.:hifive:

You do know that that product is designed for hard surfaces right? I have a similar Italian made hard surface steamer.... definately would not use it on carpet or fabric.

You guys should have been at the Expo. There were two models being showed. Contact Renny D. at Attention To Details | Aircraft Detailing | Auto Detailing | Specialized Detail Training and he will explain to you the difference between the less expensive model and the VaporMaster 3000. I own that one and those that do know what it does for interior cleaning- less time, less product, and cleaner due to the heat of the steam- kills everything. There is a DVD being done to teach you how to use it correctly.

I think of this machine like an air compressor that puts out steam. It simply blew away all the gunk that I had in my center console- old stains, junk in the seams, etc.

It's a great machine, but not cheap. However, price should not be a concern when you realize what you are getting.

For $1800 plus dollars it's outragous. I can buy 3 of the other ones for the price of that one. I am sure it is the same other than the hose like some pro's have been telling me.

It's $1395, not $2000. It comes with the cart and the industrial style hose + a lifetime warranty and a loaner program should it need repairs. Not sure if the $595 model comes with those options, but you can check it out and reply if you wish.

I have the cart which is great, but need that better hose. The cheaper one is not going to last and is not as functional.

Also, I forgot to mention that it comes with free training. For those of you only buying on price, then that is what you will get. However, at age 37, I learned recently after years of always buying on price, that price shopping can get frustrating later when things don't work and you lose money. Value is not just the price.

Could not have said it better myself. Was just informed that DHL just dropped my VM3000 from Renny at the house! :bounce I too did a ton of research, the lifetime warranty, loaner program, and the longer hose are why I went with him. Also....There is free shipping on the unit, but that stops today. Cannot wait to try it out.....:work:

He is also producing a video on how to use it best. I can't wait for that to come out. Remember, only use distilled or DI water as that was what I was told.

It takes a few uses to get used to it. The first time I used it, the steam was so thick inside my car that I couldn't see...it was pretty funny.

From what I was told, no. Renny had a hose built to his specs. It is longer (1ft if I remember correctly) and is more industrial. Plus I was told that the fingertip features on the new hose were different. I just read over the VX5000 unit. It does look like a very good VS. They really stand behind their product.

That is the older type hose that all the models came with. I have that one and once I am better at using my unit, I will order the newer type hose that I saw at the Expo along with some better attachments. We asked that they come up with a brush attachment made of boars hair or something similarly soft. They were going to look into it.

Interesting, keep us updated with the findings / performance. Good steamers usually have amazing customer service & industrial performance with high reliability.

Is it a continuios fill machine?

No and for good reason. However, with a tank of water I think it goes for about 1 hour and you really don't lose pressure. I have done my interior 3 times without refilling. It heats in about 5-8 min.
