Search will not work....

I get this:

"

Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 8388608 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 1024 bytes) in /home/httpd/vhosts/autopia.org/httpdocs/forum/search.php on line 839

"

whats goin on????????????????????????????????????before all these changes(why?????) i saved a lot of threads into my ''FAVORITES''. now when i go into ''FAVORITES'' ALL I GET IS ''THIS PAGE CANNOT BE FOUND''.

Personal opinion, but I liked the way the previous board looked

and operated. This now just feels very congested.

 The "Best of Autopia" folder in my bookmarks is currently useless. Curious, has anyone gotten any feedback on resolutions?

I think that may just be a pathing issue--you may just be able to fix the path in your links so they work...it used to be "http://www.autopia.org/forums/..." now it's "

http://www.autopia.org/forum/..."

:xyxthumbs You are correct sir -- no "s" on "forum." Thank you very much.

I don't really deserve the thanks...I think it was mentioned earlier in the thread. The other problem is when other threads are linked in threads...those don't work either...so you may be cursing me if you changed all your linked paths...and then they change the path so the links work :p

The Title on the left of most people's posts says "Registered User", it used to say different things depending on how many posts you have or some people have custom titles. I tried going to User CP and clicking on Edit Profiles but there's no place to enter the title. Has anyone figured this out yet?

Maybe I'm the only one who used this, but there were three boxes next to the autopia.org logo pre-upgrade., These were "Articles," "Forums," and "Reviews." "Forums" I can get to with the new upgrade. Reviews ... seems like it can only be accessed from the home page by clicking on the posted review. Articles ... :nixweiss

It would be nice to have direct links to both Reviews and Articles.

I'm trying to upload pics to my members gallery. I hit upload and then ask for a description. I put that in and I hit ok and it gives me this error:

Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 8388608 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 4096 bytes) in /home/httpd/vhosts/autopia.org/httpdocs/gallery/image-inc.php on line 108

It says I have unlimited size and space.

Then I hit the help link located in the top right of the page and it said the page didn't exsist

I have some great pics of a '37 Ford I detailed

I have to say I'm increasingly disappointed with the software change...

While I appreciate the work everyone put into it, the double bar problem is very ugly and distracting and leads to unnecessarily long pages, the forum jump remains a missing essential, and we still don't have quote buttons on the reply boxes.

I have talked to people and this is not difficult stuff to implement.

Am I asking too much?

I don't want to read through 10+ pages so forgive me if this is posted already, when I click on an image I get you must be a registered user to view the files.

There is a quote button in each persons post (bottom right corner). In the reply box the quote button is the last one on the right at the top.

Hope it helps.

I know Pat but it's not the same. That excerpts the whole text. You can add quote boxes that automatically add "quote" and "/quote". That speeds up the reply and often you don't want to excerpt the whole thing or cut everything down to what you just want to quote.
